Just for the N/A? - they always state this "we are done for (inset month here)" #######, they said this about London for July 2 weeks ago, now they are still stating they are still scheduling for July!

That wasn't entirely inaccurate, they did wrap up the first round of London interviews 2 weeks ago. I guess round 2 is wrapping up this week.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

I wonder if these Agents are referring to the specific embassies? As in, London may still be scheduling for July but Germany is finished?

Are you in the US? I wonder if same-day or at least overnight express is an option for you?

Yea, I'm bringing it to FedEx right now. I just wish I had my copy at the office to double check against. It will get there by the morning. I'm only in New York. I could drive it there myself if I had...and had a car.

She said it wouldn't be 30 days. Technically it wasn't 30 days this time. It was 21.

She said it would not be 30 days? thats good news, i just get a strict 30 days line. Mine was scanned 4th June so i am hoping fro a CC by the end of June latest!

Hi Guys,

I took of work to solve the Tax Return Issue. I went back to my old accountant and explained to him how I need to file Married Filing Separately instead of Single and he said that no issue at all; that he's had many cases in the past like this and some accountants don't know cause they don't like tinkering with there software to by pass it.

So we took my old 2013 Tax Returns (Year I got married); filled out a new one along with 1040X; and said I send one packet to IRS and another to NVC and my new copy of 1040 has my wife and marital status changed and under her SS it says, "NRA-Applied".

Luckily, I listened to you guys and it was worth taking 5 hours off work to sort this out. :)

Now my question which 864 I file; I have 3 W-2s (One for salary, 2 for commission) I'm a Insurance Agent. And I do stocks also.

Does only one W2 show enough for the poverty guidelines? If yes, then you meet one of the qualifications of the I-864EZ. If no, then you must use the I-864.

That sucks! It used to be 15 days, but now it's 30 days.

A month ago, it was like, "Checklist!? Oh, well, I guess I'll wait for 15 more days." :clock:

Now, it's like, "Checklist!!?? 30 more days!!?? Grrrrrrrr!!!" :dead:

Checklist reviews have always been 30 business days.

You're' at 16 business days since the DS-261 resubmittance. Hopefully this week, you'll get the IV bill. I think resubmitting the DS-261 messes up their system quite a bit.

sorry for all the editing. My air conditioner is a little wonky and I'm freezing! Hands don't work properly in the cold I guess.

I just spoke with supervisor "Nari". It was a rollercoster of emotions that ended in me having to accept that I'm mailing in a new form. Also, she said that it didn't matter anyway because they are done scheduling for July.

Ughhh. I'm sorry you have to submit the form again! :(

CASE COMPLETE!!!

PS: As my signature states, our AOS fee changed to N/A on saturday, we called today and you know the rest!

Congrats! :) May I suggest editing your signature to reflect the June dates bc right now you have a case complete as of 5/14. lol

I called my accountant and he amended my previous taxes, filed as MFS now and wrote her first and last name and NRA in place of SSN, he's sending me the documents to sign and submit to the IRS. Should I physically find an IRS office to take these to in order to get some sort of receipt, or should I mail it and ask for this later? Thanks!

Thank God we found out about this now, especially me, before sending to NVC.

Now I just need to find out which 864 I need to file.

I earn W-2 Salary and 1099 (Commission) as I'm an Insurance Agent and Marketing Rep in the Agency and I play stocks on the side. I made Approx. 22-23K previous 2 years, and I'm going to get a Joint Sponsor who is my best friend earning more than 40K Salary Per year last 5 years and he's married with no kids. So I need to know what are the proper forms for us both.

We made it! No checklist! Thank you EVERYONE for all the help and the words of wisdom and love!

Good luck my friends
