Soloenta, your post reminded me of a time, many years ago, when I was an auditor for the bank that ran the "Carte Blanche" credit card. It appears to still be a valid credit card under the aegis of Diner's Club...

The person who was the business leader of the card (Headquartered in the Midwest) had obviously never had a French lesson, or been to France.

This person pronounced the card: "carty blank"

I nearly DIED when I heard that!!! Snort!

I got the confirmation email for DS261 on Jun6, and my AOS fee turned to be PAID on Jun10.

I didnt know that it takes about a month now for IV fee until I read this thread.

It was not like this last month right?

I hope NVC works speedy again!

Welcome to the thread and congratulations getting the AOS paid and it took be about that long to show paid also.

Yes it's taking a long time of late look at my timeline, I'm still waiting for the IV fee to show up.

It seems to vary and make no sense at least to me why but some said that USCIS is taking less time to accept the I-130 thus

flooding NVC. Who really knows. I also hope NVC will speed up but wont hold my breath.

Hahaa you kidding me, La Jolla means the Jewel and there is a reason for that, it's just beautiful! I would have gone with La Jolla!

Hi everyone

Just catching up on two days of posts.

Did my last assignment of my degree this weekend so will graduate in August. Have loved every minute of it.

Sad not to be with Andy on Fathers Day. The children Skyped him though as we do everyday.

Two weeks this Wednesday and we will be a family again just for a week. He is flying in from New York and us from Adelaide. All off to Whitsunday Islands for a weeks holiday.

It is our wedding anniversary this Friday 20th. 17 years so I may be a bit sad.

Looking forward to a big week of good news for everybody.
