I was busy with making Medical and Biometrics appointment while Wife is studying her final exam for Nursing. ( Also, helping others in Facebook page )

I called more than 100 times to schedule a medical for my wife and Finally, they picked up my phone after 8 days.

seems like NVC got flue from uSciS now..

30 days for each step.. Seriously ?

Interesting reading, LoveMyTico. When do these sessions usually occur? I'd love to ask some questions!!!

My attorney sent us a copy of the interview letter, even though she knew we got a copy too. She asked if we had any questions, and I asked her about bona fide documents to take.

But knowing she is an AILA attorney, and knowing that she actually wrote the how-to-for-lawyers book for the AOS and IV forms, I asked her two questions...

1. How does the Adjudicator's Manual get changed? Especially when I know there are errors?

2. What can be done about the disparity in what the I-864 instructions say and what NVC checklists (leave Place of Residence blank if the same as Mailing address issue)?

I will report back if she has any solutions. Those of you whose cases have been affected by clear NVC errors (like W-2s for people working overseas and my case - PCCs required in error) - maybe we can make a difference for those of us who come later.

Lets define what NVC means by 30 Business working Days from the date NVC scan in your received mail.

Weekend , Holidays, non working days(due to inclement weather) are not considered as part of the thirty(30) Business working days. Thirty Business working days do not equal to 4 weeks. So this means any calls before the twenty Business day will gain you nothing, but disappointment.

There should be an initial call to establish your mail scan date, than the 30 business working days count should begin. At the time you are within the 20-25 days, a weekly call can help put you into prospective as to where NVC maybe at their processing time.

Anything else means you are causing the phone time backlog, and those who really have need of assistance are unable to get in cue. This also causes backlog within the adjudication of the documents that are in cue for review.

Hence this adds to the backlog problem, which than put your documents at the 30 working business days for review.

So... my wife (Shanelly) (her nickname), called back for the supervisor she spoke to yesterday, explained to her the statement is there about the UK doesn't provide W-2's, only P60's, saw both were there and removed the checklist.. .

Now we can relax and have a good weekend. Will probably call back on Monday morning just to make sure it was removed though. (Can't trust them all at once can we?! .

does a false checklist for the IV mean that your AOS is approved? I worked late this past week and missed the window to call. I have already sent the IV packet and i know its a false checklist but I was wondering if anyone else had a false checklist for the IV then actually received a real checklist for the AOS. I have seen a signature here or there says "False IV checklist = AOS approval" is this correct? thanks.

I think mail can only be delivered to NVC Monday through Friday so your express mail should arrive at NVC on Monday.

However, rumor has it that NVC employees are working on Saturdays. So I'd assume they should be able to receive mail on Saturday. Maybe Mail Receivers don't work on Saturdays (or the rumor of NVC employees working on Saturdays is not exactly accurate)?

my mail didn't get delivered today. It said business closed. USPS will try to deliver monday

Can anyone tell me that is employment letter optional or necessary with the AOS packet?

I sent the AOS packet with last 6 months of paystub but no employment letter.

Dont wanna spend 30 days more for the REF...
