I'm off here until I get a case complete. I need to unplug and I just can't take anymore of this nightmare. I told that Agent that our lives are on hold and I keep calling because I want to get on with my life. Why should this have to be explained to another human being?

You mean it cost $550 to fly from Calgary to Vancouver!? That is expensive!

Plus, you'll have to fly to Montreal ($600 to fly there from Calgary?) for your interview so this immigration process is sure expensive! I just checked how much it costs to fly from Vancouver to Montreal in Sept - $650! I'm using my miles to fly to Montreal and am staying at my friend's house so it shouldn't be too bad.

Well, it's nice to know that the medical exam was $280 (CAD). I mean it's still expensive, but it's not as bad as I thought.

I wasn't as clear as I should have been as it cost 550 to fly there and back.

My Montreal trip is booked and will be $1200 - including 2 nights at Le square Phillip Hotel, and I wanted flights that were non-stop.

Working fast to catch up on all the good news from the last few days!

On the way home from I called again, andddd I GOT MY INTERVIEW JULY 21st!!!!!! I can go for a weekend at least!!!! I'm so happy!!! Now my husband isn't picking up his phone lol he's going to see like 1000 missed calls when he leaves the gym

I just got off the phone with the lovely Jack and our case is complete at NVC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No interview date yet though.

I think Australia must be one of the most expensive places for the immigration medical. In Melbourne we have been quoted $405 and $450 (not including vaccinations). Of course there are only 2 places in our area to choose from, so it's not like you have much choice. And somehow I replied to one of the doctors instead of forwarding his email to my husband and said "The other place is $450, bend over". So it sounded like I was telling to doc off, when I was really venting my frustration to my husband. That was fun to explain. lol

Wasn't the idea for the I-130s to move faster? I really hate seeing posts from people complaining about the I-130s moving faster just because it didn't happen to us. I'm sure my opinion isn't going to be popular, but I don't think it's right to poo-poo on someone for getting thru faster. Congrats to the fast approvals! I'm happy to see that our letters shifted their tooshies into gear and those who filed behind us are reaping the benefits. That was the point of our letters! Not just for us to get through quickly, but everyone.

I'm not pooping on anyone it's not the person I'm upset about I'm happy for them I'm upset at the system in so many ways. I can't help it so has nothing to do with those reaping the benefits at all.

really?? that's great to hear...but not the checklist... sorry for the checklist...

then I hope operator is lying to me because when I called today, they said start from June11 and count 30 days to expect any answers from NVC...SO i was kinda upset because thats almost 2 months....=(

Thank you . Well I was expecting two months due to the backlog ! Hubby called and they explained what to do with the checklist and they said they are still working overtime and on Saturdays. So I'm expecting an august interview in gods will . Best of luck to you hope things will move faster for you !

Case complete!!!!! Spoke to ARTHUR he was a little ruff but gave mr the good news!!!!!

I was checking the ceac site and the AOS went from paid to N/A so I decided to call.

Took a day of yesterday to re group. Took a mental health day to get my mind clear .

This was soooooooooooooooooooo killing me!!!!!!!

I cant take it...I just got email checklist. I feel like a knife has been plunged into my heart. No chance now to get my wife here in August. Lawyers are worthless!

It says its for Item 13.a.1 Total gross income reported...I DID put total gross income!!! Damnit! I am so depressed!

I'm so very sorry but your still close compared to others just know she will be with you it's just a small step back considering where you have been.

So... my wife (Shanelly) (her nickname), called back for the supervisor she spoke to yesterday, explained to her the statement is there about the UK doesn't provide W-2's, only P60's, saw both were there and removed the checklist.. .

Now we can relax and have a good weekend. Will probably call back on Monday morning just to make sure it was removed though. (Can't trust them all at once can we?! .

The first part of your comment is not always true. Back when I got approved, this seemed to be an NSC glitch. I was approved at CSC and my status never changed to let me know when my case was shipped to NVC.

I'm only stating this so people don't freak out if their USCIS never updates to reflect shipment :-D

Thanks for bringing it up. My status changed and showed the exact date it was shipped to nvc, so I thought that's how it is for everyone.
