I think he meant was he put down Gross income instead of total income. If it's 1040, then it should be total income, only 1040-ez will be gross income..

Because actually 1040-EZ's gross income is same as 1040 or 1040A total income... 1040-EZ is only when you have W-2 or any other compensation such as unemployment or interest income, otherwise 1040A or 1040 applies..

I feel bad for all of us who waited so long and got a checklist for a stupid thing... I'm waiting for my checklist for not putting N/A =( and idk when that will be :cry::clock::clock::clock:

I was confused about these as well, I should double check now I guess. I was also not sure about filling I-864 or I-864EZ. I was meeting all requirements for EZ with my W2 income enough to support but I also have a rental property. I filled the EZ version because the other was way too long. Do you think I should fill the I-864?

I remember whenever I used to ask my lawyer any questions like this, he was never sure! Lawyers are absolute waste of money.

Nope, nothing yet. Soon, hopefully!

Yahoo! That's awesome!

I hope so too! In my case it was only 2 days but I believe yours was longer time frame between initial submission and resubmission? You should call NVC & speak with a supervisor and also give them your initial confirmation no for ds261! Can't believe we are paying price for their not so smart system :(

I take it you have not received an interview date?

Congrats!

bdrew!! Call.. call call!!! i'm calling after you to check IV status.

I will keep everyone updated!!

@bdrew612

so the info you got yesterday was another lie! #SMH

I wouldn't say she "lied", she just gave the answer her supervisors probably ask all the Agents to give to cover their tooshies. Had she told me the 16th would be reviewed today and it hadn't been reviewed, they'd be on the hook and we'd all be twice as mad.

If on your tax return, you included other income such as rental, self-employment and such, then you can't file I864EZ according to the instruction.

I-864EZ is only used if you receive W-2s or pension income from your former employer, it's salary only.

So... my wife (Shanelly) (her nickname), called back for the supervisor she spoke to yesterday, explained to her the statement is there about the UK doesn't provide W-2's, only P60's, saw both were there and removed the checklist.. :dancing::dancing: .

Now we can relax and have a good weekend. Will probably call back on Monday morning just to make sure it was removed though. (Can't trust them all at once can we?! :D.

You mean a July (not August) interview? There is a chance that you can still get a July interview, right? :)

July seems to have gone out the window.. We got the supervisor approval where she realised we had the statement and the P60 in place of the W-2..... since the UK doesn't provide W-2's! She saw it in our case and removed it today! Glad we went with a supervisor rather than re-writing a statement out and sending the same thing again to wait for.. what.. Oh no! :(. You didn't put the same address as current address. Just because many people got a checklist doesn't mean you will get one either. Think positive. I also didn't put NA for sponsorship page and I know few people got checklist for that too. Also, on my W2 income is in .xx and on return it was rounded so worried I might get one too. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and I :)

Does it mean your case is complete? Did you get CC when you talked to the supervisor?

If you get CC by the 15th, it might be possible to get a July interview?

Oh, believe me, I have... no one was willing to put me through to a supervisor. Liz did say she was sending it up the line to a supervisor, but there seemed to be no sign of that when I called back this week. I've decided to just wait - it's not worth waiting on hold for ages just to have them say "we have no record of that... wait 30 business days". I'm totally ready to send my IV package the instant I pay the bill (whenever that may be) so I'll just be satisfied with that for now.

Is your timeline updated?
