She never does like informed callers.

I remember I had a long conversation with her about my I-129F and I think i really got in her nerves she started yelling and said " now you think you know it all, right", I started laughing at her and told her that I was only telling her facts from the NVC website and all.

She gets defensive quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When she answered and said 'this is Joy', my heart sank.

Although, if she was going to get nasty and rude with me, I was ready for her! LOL I would tell her ALL about herself! :-D

When i read it the first time I thought you wrote "Agent Cupcake". That's my private eye alias. ;)

Please work at NVC and be Agent Cupcake for all of us :-D

I just had my first interaction with Joy. She didn't yell at me. Maybe she read my open letter?

Anyway, not under review yet. She told me to expect a case complete the first week of July. I nearly told her to take a long walk off a short pier. I asked her if it was possible for her to let her supervisor or someone know that their own web site is inaccurate as it states 2-4 weeks and it would probably lower call volume if their site was giving accurate information. She said they have an unsual amount of mail and while it "was" taking 2-4 weeks, that is not the case right now. She would not tell me what date range they're on, even after I said people around my date are getting answers (she sighed at me, I don't think she likes informed customers lol).

last night, an agent told me to wait til end of the month for a decision on my IV documents (scanned May 15th)

I have a really tough time buying that. it's going to take them 3 weeks (plus overtime, unless they only worked that one Saturday to make up for Memorial Day) to go through TWO days' of mail?

If this is their way of trying to lower the call volume, someone needs fired lol

Are there any people from the 14th in here? Start calling!

My guess is we're getting a CC on Monday. Then we have to wait until the end of the month for an interview that's going to fall right around the time my husband and I will be in Prague. Maybe we should just live in Pragueand not come back lol

The husband and I sat in front of the calendar this morning and tried to figure out the day difference between his usual 90 day reentry and possible CR1 reentry. Unfortunately at the moment, both dates are pretty close. I really don't want to hit the one year mark.

You can only use 2 joint sponsors if more than 1 person is immigrating. You cannot combine income of two joint sponsors, you can combine income of a co-sponsor (family member of the joint sponsor). Each joint sponsor should have enough income to qualify based on poverty guidelines.

IF only 1 person is immigrating, you need to find a joint sponsor with enough income to cover the immigrant and the household size of joint sponsor.

I got it, thanks :)

LOL I meant 'we' as in my husband and me!

That N/A vs blank really irriates me. That is being nit-picky for absolutely no reason.

I'm stuck with the stupid AOS checklist for not writing N/A in place of residence.

I feel your pain. I got checklisted for the same thing on the I-864A. I wish on the form they would remove the clause "IF different than mailing address". I swear, these forms were written on the wrong side of the looking glass. What's up is down, what's down is up, and instructions must be disregarded at all cost.
