Congratulations!!!

can you fill your timeline or give me the dates you sent the IV package?

For some crazy reason, I am unable to fill my timeline because the system believes there is a duplicate account. I have contacted the administrator and still waiting to have it fixed. I sent the IV package March 7 but they kept my case under review for 2 months before case complete.

I noted the duplicated account thing.

Thanks for the info, I am trying to estimate dates.

My package was scanned on May 27, still need to wait more time.

Good night!

Hey guys!!! I finally decided to call the NVC today and we have an interview date of JULY 17th :dancing: :joy: :dancing: :joy: :dancing: :joy:

That's great! Huge congrats!

Hey all

Do I need to prove domicile if I live in the US but visiting my spouse until God willing she gets a visa and we travel to US together?

You might have to... I personally wouldn't worry about it at the AOS stage... Just put your US address and info as though you were there. They might ask for some evidence at the interview, but you ARE domiciled in the US, so it shouldn't be hard to prove!

Just received interview dates for my Girls!!! Finally NVC is assigning dates in the DR!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing: July 24!!!!

YES! Congrats to you! And to think... We thought no more July interviews! They were just getting started!

INTERVIEW SCHEDULED JULY 22!!!!

SO ironic because this is the EXACT date that we wanted. I was flying home to the USA on the 22nd FROM Sydney so now I can go with my husband to the interview and we will only be separated for ONE week!

Sweet! Couldn't have gone better for you today!

Is your timeline updated?

I've mailed my AOS package two days ago. :star:

Now I'm not reading other people's AOS form or package questions because they make me feel super nervous! LOL! :bonk:

Maybe you should just wait and see if NVC is okay with your AOS package instead of going crazy. Fingers crossed!

Good idea, hahahaaaa I try to read every single post and I'm sure your right. I have to put down how much my father makes and there was no other place to put it. At least I hope, I just wanted to send the corrected one(s) to not have to wait an extra month. :( Thank you Austin. (F) (L) (F)

Oooops! I missed that last part.... didn't use one from the list.

Embassy shouldn't care anyway, as they would probably throw the translation away (I hope!).

It's crazy MoBar how different all the Embassies are.

I read an interview for the Egyptian Embassy and the guy said he got his Visa but he had to get a new sponsor because the one that NVC sent to them did not reach the poverty limit. Now how can that happen, seems very odd to me. The Embassy told me it's all up to NVC :o WHAT! Lies, lies and more lies. :(

Not sure if anyone has ever heard of this situation before but if so, I'd SO appreciate someone sharing with me.

After seeing a few Australians get early July interviews, I am FREAKING OUT.

I got my case complete on June 9th and I am now thinking we might get a July 8th or July 15th interview. This COULD be a problem because I still have a package waiting to be reviewed, scanned in on June 6th (I am kicking myself now for sending it...). It will most likely be reviewed the first week of July, sent to the embassy within the same week....

My package might not make it to the Sydney consulate before our interview! Is there any way I can call and ask them to expedite the review of our package if we do receive an interview date for the 8th or the 15th??

Ugh...

Common sense (although not common at NVC) would tell me that it would be NVC's responsibility to get your docs to the embassy in time for interview (overnight mail if they have to). They can see you have another package in the system, they should keep all of your paperwork together and send in time for interview. Easy for me to say, but why don't you wait until you get an interview date and then ring them and double, triple check they will get all of your paperwork to Sydney in time.

Sorry you are having to worry about this, when now is the time you should be relaxing. The only other thing I can think is you could order new original docs and hope they get to you before interview?

I am actually not worried about original documents getting there, I have ALL originals with me (I paid to have two-four sets of everything) :)

Just worried they won't interview us without our package :/

Hi A&J Iang,

I sent both packages from 5May n they were scanned on 12May, but laywer made mistakes on my i864, then we had to resend i864 on 20May, it was scanned on 29May. Still waiting now.

Hi vickyricky when did Nvc receive your doc? They receive our docs last may 30 but until now it's not yet scan in their system. I don't know what to do now.

You asked this question elsewhere on the site and I answered it. But you're right, this is the best place to ask NVC related questions.

Say, has anyone determined a new magical way to find out if NVC has accepted the AOS package, other than calling? I'm on EP, so I don't have a fedex delivery statement or what have you. Do they still automatically generate a checklist for the IV package once they've got the AOS?

Also, in random other news, I just got the hard copy of the NOA2 on my i129. I'm really surprised that it never came up as redundant, since my i130 is approved for 2 1/2 months already!
