Hey guys i called nvc and they said that to need to translate the doc...!!!

Then i asked agian --um from egypt and the docs will be in arabic --

He said it ok sent it in arabic

Then i asked agin are u sure ??

He said um sure !!!!

What to do??

you don't need a translation if arabic is the egyptian official language (which it is)

Translation Requirements

All documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations and submitted to the NVC. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator stating that the:

  • Translation is accurate, and
  • Translator is competent to translate.

I have a question today i lost my work

[06/10/2013]: NOA1 by email

[01/21/2014]: NOA2 by email after a long 7 months

[03/17/2014]: Got our case number/received and paid AOS Bill (same day)

[03/17/2014]: Completed and submitted DS-261

Aos package at the "tail-end" of being reviewed. Bloody hell this process could give me a heart attack. Hope if we get a checklist, it's false. *fingers crossed*. Will be calling back soon!

U mean that i send all the iv docs without translation

All the docs -birth ci. Merrage ci. Police ci.- all in arabic

Not a problem and just remember be 100% honest no matter what! Just put it in your mind they know everything and they are just trying to catch you in a lie. :D So always tell the truth.

They really shouldn't require translations as per their rules. The NVC agent that would review your IV docs, though, might say: "Ummm... checklist for no translations!"

Why take chances? I had the same issue and I Included the originals as well as translations.

Hey guys, congrats to all who received good new today and yesterday.

Quick question, if someone is sending an AOS package through e-mail, how long does it normally take for the NVC to show they have received it. I had it send on the 27th of May, and when I called today, they confirmed they have payment for the AOS and the DS-261 shown as complete, but nothing about the AOS package. Can anyone give me any information on this?
