another month and it has gotten worst ! husband and I been fighting like we hate each other :( he had asked for the divorce a million times then we been trying to make it up and we can't be good w.o fighting every 2 min :( idk wat to do anymore i love him but he doesn't seem to care about this anymore! when we fight he left our case out as if he was doing it to hurt me he doesn't wants to cll nvc or do anything! we already paid the I864 fee and thats all we have done we are in troubles besides fighting everyday he had to amend his taxes and now he haven got the amid tax back so we can't even put together the AAOS PACKAGE :(

not to mention he owns IRS $300.00 for filling wrong his taxes : :( this sucks almost two years of this bs and we are losing it ! someone help me do we need the amend forms to send the package :crying:

I understand where you're coming from. My husband and I have been having really intense fights on the phone lately, and we are just waiting for our interview date. Maybe just take a few days to cool off, and then go back to talking to each other. It would suck to let NVC and USCIS win after all this time, hang in there!! And PM me if you need to talk, i'm here :)

M-O-N-D-A-Y NVC GIMME MY FRIGGIN INTERVIEW DATE THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called NVC at 7am (EST) and waited for 40 minutes to talk to Joy! Lucky me!

Joy gave me my case number, but she refused to give me the IIN. :wow:

She was pretty bitchy on the phone, but I wasn't surprised a bit (since I heard about her on this thread) so I managed to keep my cool!

I'm calling them back again now to get the IIN. I hope to talk to anyone but Joy! LOL :clock:

My tip: call in the evenings. Joy doesn't work evenings :P I've always had lovely conversations with the evening staff. Guess it's because they get a lie-in!

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

My partner's tax transcript doesn't show any line numbers. :huh2:

I guess I'm using the amount at "Wages, Salaries, Tips, Etc" at Income. :star:

Please tell me if it's No! No! No! No! That's NOT correct!

line 22 is from the actual 1040. I can't remember which line from the transcript. sorry :(

I just talked to Waldo and got the IIN! I now have both the case number and IIN.

Even though my case number was assigned 10 days ago (May 23), Waldo said there was nothing I could do now until I receive an email from NVC asking me to fill out DS-261 and pay the AOS fee. He said that I would receive the email sometime this week.

I thought I was taking a vacation too long and my case was getting delayed. Well, that wasn't the case at all! :wow: I'm so glad I didn't cut my vacation short!

Hello All...

I recently received a checklist from NVC stating that they needed the beneficiaries Birth Certificate.....I called them up today and spoke to a representative about it....I told her that per their website travel.state.gov and under my country's civil documents it is allowed to substitute a BC for a individual record sheet and that i had attached an original copy of that and also that i mentioned it on my cover letter (goes to show you that they dont even read that :( )

She said that I am correct and as long as I have attached an original individual record sheet that I should be fine and that she will have someone look into it from the revision department....

is this gonna be like a 1 week thing or more like a month thing....has anything like this ever happen to anyone ...

Thanks

when they checklisted me for a police certificate, I called and challeged them because it is not required at the NVC for a Police Cert for Costa Rica. They told me I was correct and they initiated a supervisor review. That only took a day or two.

I think I'll skip dying my hair at this job. I'll have fun with 3 (for now) wigs instead :)

Hello everyone!

I have been avoiding the forums just because I did not wanted to become depressed again, as I got during the USCIS time.

But I am very happy for all of you that got Case complete and the Interview is scheduled.

ditto here. I'm a may 7th also and my sos changed to na this weekend( I Just haven't received ANY checklist whatsoever). I'll be calling in the evening.

My docs have always said N/A ever since they changed the site.

Im MAY 8th, I'm on hold now....

I guess we'll find out if they made some decent head-way over the weekend.

My CEAC status has not changed.. Both invoices show PAID and the DS260 shows as COMPLETED.

Agent Sarah just picked up. She says the documents are under review and I need to give it 30 days bla bla bla. Then she said I need to wait 30 days from May 16th. I asked again about my May 7th documents, she said they're currently being reviewed. I explained that I was told that on May 23rd only to find out last week they haven't been reviewed. She said I need to wait for e-mail notification. I asked does this mean I'm getting a checklist. She said she didn't know. So I asked what day they're working on, she said she has no access to that and I need to wait 30 days. I said if it's currently being reviewed, how long does it take once an officer touches the file. She said 30 days.

I think I was talking to a robot.

I give up. Looking "forward" to joing the August interview thread.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!
