Question about DS260:

My daughter is 2 years and she have all her vaccination done (in Sudan) so I answered yes in the DS260 vaccination question, do I have to sumbitt the record with IV package or just take it to the medical appioment, (the reason I am asking is because the record with my wife in Sudan), thanks

I sent Aos package n IV doc at the same time, they were scanned on 12May, but i864 was input wrong info by laywer. We resubmited i864 on 22May, it was sanned on 29May. I sent email to NVC to ask my case on 17May n got reply today to say that:

A letter will be sent to the petitioner or attorney of record indicating

the Affidavit of Support requirement for this case is incomplete.

Please submit the requested Affidavit of Support form(s) and/or

financial evidence, as indicated on the checklist. The requested

information must be submitted to the NVC for this file to continue

processing.

It meant I got the checklist for AOS, IV doc is fine, right? I have not received checklist email.

May I ask why were you expecting a checklist? What was the missing document that you sent later??

2.5 weeks later and supervisor review still not complete

Thats a long time ...im contemplating in just getting another birth certificate and mailing it just to be sure

If the supervisor reviews it and makes the decision that the document is not the right one what happens?

I don't sleep anymore since I left my husband in Egypt. Also my mother is ill and sometimes she can't sleep so I stay up with her. Many things are going on that my nerves are on edge and I come to the forum which I didn't do before because it really depressed me. Now I come to see if I can learn anything to not ask what has already been asked. Unfortunately my nerves get the best of me at times.

Might sleep today, I'm so very tired might try to sleep a little.

Honestly speaking I have wondered that too. Couple times that how do u post day and night. And yup I can totally understand ur frustration :|

The US Embassy has to be open. Maybe they are on a lighter case load. Costa Rica has 2 Holidays in July. The American 4th of July and then another Costa Rican Hoilday around the 26th I think... Then August 2nd. I am hoping to get in the 3 rd week in July. I'm not being picky, I just want July. Booking a flight the first week will be too expensive and probably no rewards seats left anyway.

WOW WOW all of my supervisor reviews were done within 2 days. Have you called and asked for a supervisor? I have spoken to a few supervisors .. The day shift supervisor is amazing !!! We also sent in the cerified Birth Cert immediately while we waited for the review. I had a feeling they were going to be jerks.. and I was right.

Now I'm scared, what if they say that my Birth/Marriage certificates are not certified copies?

I'm sure they are, I got them at the Civil Registry and were aditionally legalized and apostilled. Getting new ones will take me at least 2 extra weeks!

What worries me is that they were translated by an official interpreter. They staple the translations to the original doc and stamp everything (the translations are first and the document is at the end). What if NVC only checks the translation and doesn't see the rest?

I put a 'post it' sticky note at the first page saying that the translation was stapled first and then they could see the actual document.. But we all know that people at NVC might not read that

the operators always push back on me when i press on the supervisor review, saying to "allow 30 business days". how did you get through to a supervisor? this is such bs
