My partner went for her Medical today in Brisbane, Australia. We were lucky - they scheduled the exam for her even though we don't have our Case Complete email yet, nor our interview date. Turns out all they wanted was her case number, so we could have gotten her exam done two months ago!

Anyway, I was surprised that they told her it would take seven days for the results, AND, she has to go back to their office to pick it up. It takes us an hour-and-a-half train ride to get into Brisbane.

The receptionist said we could have it mailed to us for an extra $20, but firmly discouraged this method.

I, myself, think that $475 for an exam is an outrage, and having to go back to pick it up is too. However, it is the last "tick" of the box prior to our interview, and for that, we are both thankful.

I see LifeOnHold got her CC email on June 9. That means ours will probably come on June 11. Sure wish we'd get that interview email, though!

I've not seen any interviews given in the last three working days at NVC...

Those little hearts are like tiny VJ badges of honor I can edit my member title, the little line that shows up on top of what would be my picture. I can't think what it should be though... any suggestions?

Most people find out first by calling, then receive the email with the actual checklist items a day or so later.

Do they usually checklist people after looking at the contents of the package before scanning it into the system? Or at the time of the review? I haven't received anything yet and my packages were scanned in on the 14th. Does that mean I'm in the clear checklist wise?

I don't sleep anymore since I left my husband in Egypt. Also my mother is ill and sometimes she can't sleep so I stay up with her. Many things are going on that my nerves are on edge and I come to the forum which I didn't do before because it really depressed me. Now I come to see if I can learn anything to not ask what has already been asked. Unfortunately my nerves get the best of me at times.

Might sleep today, I'm so very tired might try to sleep a little.

Checklists are issued after review. Like USCIS, your documents sit in the queue for however long without anyone doing more than acknowledging they're in the building. Once your turn comes up in line, they review your package and decide if it's ok or not. They seem to be reviewing packages from around the 14th now, so you'll either get a checklist or an all-clear pretty soon. Only a checklist will get you an email, though -- they don't send out notices to say a package is satisfactory. You can only find that out by calling.

When did you complete the DS261 for your wife?

completed the DS261 04/24 same my daughter, I Paid my daughter IV and today I finshed her DS260 (do not know if ineed to wait for my wife and send them together), my wife DS 261 suddenly appeared incomplete on friday (submitted again),,,,I am calling now to see what's up,,,,,

because I call with google voice as always and now i'm receiving this message At 2:18 PM +1 603-334-0700 was not available for a phone call.

That is the correct number. I'm not sure about google voice, I use a Skype subscription, but it takes me 20+ attempts for the call to connect. I usually redial, redial, redial non stop until the call is connected. Perhaps try that if you haven't already.

after 20 days, NVC emailed back with new case # and notified me that i'm now enrolled in EP...

Does anyone know that I have to resubmit all AOS doc? now i'm confused.

It sure is alot of money !! I saw that post when I woke up this morning and almost had a heart attack.. My husband only has to pay $75.00 or at least that is what the instructions say. But $75 is alot of money in Costa Rica. I think the xray is additional. Not sure about the labs. That is why he went to his family doctor to get up to date on his vaccinations. Maybe Sukie's partner had to pay so much because she got more vaccinations at the appointment??? Not sure.. That is a huge amount of money for a medical
