Your AOS application and package should be fine since you've had a lot of time to read messages on this thread.

All you can do now is to mail it and cross your fingers!

You have to make the payment from a bank account that is located within the U.S. If you don't have your account number or routing number, you can always look online or call the bank directly. The payment is all done online. There is no check to send in or anywhere to put who it is paid to.

Actually, you can send a money order if you choose to.

Some people don't have a US bank account so they send a money order instead. We thought about sending a money order because we both live in Canada and didn't have a US bank account. Well, my partner drove to the US and opened a bank account since we thought it would be easier and faster.

Hi Sukie, I went to the site to download it and lot's of complaints and some said their computer was totally messed up from it so I decided not to download it. I need my PC to talk to my husband, so I wont risk it.

My partner went for her Medical today in Brisbane, Australia. We were lucky - they scheduled the exam for her even though we don't have our Case Complete email yet, nor our interview date. Turns out all they wanted was her case number, so we could have gotten her exam done two months ago!

Anyway, I was surprised that they told her it would take seven days for the results, AND, she has to go back to their office to pick it up. It takes us an hour-and-a-half train ride to get into Brisbane.

The receptionist said we could have it mailed to us for an extra $20, but firmly discouraged this method.

I, myself, think that $475 for an exam is an outrage, and having to go back to pick it up is too. However, it is the last "tick" of the box prior to our interview, and for that, we are both thankful.

I see LifeOnHold got her CC email on June 9. That means ours will probably come on June 11. Sure wish we'd get that interview email, though!

I've not seen any interviews given in the last three working days at NVC...

OMG, so relieved! After I posted my checklist response on Saturday, I realised I had made a mistake! The post office was closed until today (Tues in Australia) I called them first thing this morning and my documents had not left yet, so they held them for me and I ran down and did a switcheroo with my paperwork. So now I hopefully won't get a 2nd checklist!!!

Just called in to the NVC, and they gave me my case number and IIN in (just) 24 days!

Gus, the rep that took my call, told me the NVC made some changes within the last few days:

• EP (Electronic Processing) is changing to another name, but he did not have the official wording yet. Gus also mentioned that none of the reps are so new that they will not know that they are the same thing

Also, some notes:

• EP is definitely the way to go, as communications with EP take 3-5 working days and snail mail takes 10-20 working days!
• When an appointment needs to be scheduled, the NVC will schedule the appointment rather than the consulate office (e.g. China for GUZ) in the EP flow. Gus would not promise that this would be faster than the consulate (of course)
• China applicants are also eligible for EP. I believe it has been mentioned before in the wiki that "For China/GUZ applicants: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPTIN PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE DS-3032 EMAIL FROM NVC. DOING SO WILL CAUSE A SEVERE DELAY."

I'm stuck on the I-864 I'm filling it out for me and they are asking how much my father makes on line Part 6 question 6c do I put the total with cents or do I just put the total amount without the cents? Or does it even matter? Thank you.

Yes! I feel very fortunate to not have to pay another courier fee. However, in hindsight wish they had told me when I forked out $50 on Saturday, that it wouldn't leave until Tuesday. lol

I'm sending my AOS package today! Here is what I'm mailing. Please let me know if I'm missing anything!

· Bar-coded document cover sheet

· Cover letter

· I-864 form (signed and dated with all 9 pages)

· 2013 tax transcript (not including the 2012 or 2011 tax transcript to simplify the package)

· Employment letter

· Pay stubs (since Jan, 2014)

· 2014 Property Assessment Notice (we're including our property info just in case)

· Discharge/release of mortgage letter (we own 100 percent of our home)

· Property title certificate (showing our names as the owners of our home)

· US domicile (intent to re-establish US domicile) documents:

o US Employment letter (the petitioner is continuing the current employment and working from the US)

o Buyer’s Agency Agreement with a real estate agent in Seattle. (we are looking for a house in Seattle)

o Purchase offer letter of our home in Canada. (this shows that we are preparing to move back to the US)

o Vote by Mail Ballot Application (this indicates that the petitioner often still votes in US elections)

Sounds like you have it all covered! Now just sit back and relax until the next step

Always put the exact number. With the exact cents. Those who rounded numbers have gotten checklists. Good luck! ! :)

Edit: This applies to the part where you write the same number that appears on the transcripts. Don't remember the number of the item (currently on the phone and I'm going to sleep soon )

Figured this one out but have another question. My parents have everything jointly so when both parents file as sponsor and co-sponsor, do I just add assets to my father's I-864, my mother's I-864a? I have to fill out three forms and it's getting confusing.
