I asked if a July interview was possible for me at this stage and she sighed and said "honestly, that's not happening" and then quickly said "but I could be completely wrong" (I think she was covering her tooshie lol). It wasn't a completely pointless phone call afterall, I guess. :/

BAHH. At least she wasn't a parrot and repeated everything you said and gave you a teeny bit of hope to pull through for July.

When I called last week, I got Kim. After she gave me the 30 day schpeal, I asked if it were at all possible to still get a July interview for the London embassy or if all interviews had already been assigned since I know they assigned July interviews this month. "Yes, we schedule July interviews in June." ... ok? I asked if they were still scheduling. "I do not have that kind of information ma'am, and I don't know what dates they're working on, you need to wait 30 days."

I guess it all depends on when the next shipment goes.... but as LoveMyTico just posted, I guess they sit in a queue until they get the availability schedule from the Embassy.

It must be REALLY HARD to press 'send' on an e-mail.

When I was waiting on interview they could absolutely tell me when interview scheduling was occurring and when it stopped. What they couldn't do was tell me how long it would last or if/when a second round was going to happen. Keep at 'em

I don't feel guilty about complaining. I've waited almost 15 months. I think I deserve a little b*tch and whine every once in a while!

I totally understand in your case. I'd probably whine AND b*tch EVERYDAY if I had waited for 15 months.

they wouldn't have to even press SEND if it was automated... funny how we all pick out the things they can improve on while we wait... not that its difficult. Everything needs to be fixed !!

I wonder if they computer system is messed up? Like how they were having issues with the invoicing? UGHHH that would suck

I've looked at past timelines and seen that a good bunch of interviews were scheduled for London around the 16th of the month. If that remained consistent, I don't know, but I won't give up hope just yet.

Yes. Exactly the same problem, submitted the form on May 13th, then it showed as incomplete after a couple days so I resubmitted it on the 21st. Called NVC and they only have a record of the one I submitted on the 21st. Insert standard "wait 30 days" reply here.

Same here Completed both on May 21, resubmitted on May 30, ( got a Checklist saying to submit DS-261), and got a Checklist for DS-261 on June 6. AGAIN. Both cases show as incomplete but when I call and ask the representative tells me they have both forms and they are under review. Emailed supervisor on Friday, no answer as of yet. Don't want to resubmit the forms again but as of right now both DS-261 say incomplete. All this is so confusing... Why did they ever come up with this computer form if it does not work properly

Man if we have to wait until the embassy responds... #######! San Jose embassy is on tico time! We'll never get an interview on tico time!

If they say "tomorrow" it means "two weeks from Friday"

buuuuuutttttttt Interview scheduling is typically a week after case complete :/ The interviews were scheduled around the 16th, but the CCs were a week earlier than that.

Definitely keep trying! They may not even be allowed to make predictions for case processing, but they can at least tell you whether scheduling is occurring. I had case complete on April 3rd and another UK filer had an interview assigned on April 2nd, I was absolutely beside myself wondering if we were going to make the cutoff or not I called daily and every operator told me interview scheduling status.

I apologize, I've been at work and getting bits and pieces of this.

As I'm understanding now, the interviews aren't done electronically.

So NVC ships out our cases to the embassies for them to schedule the interview? Sorry, slept like 2 hours last night.

is been a little over a month and the bill for the iv hasn't opened for me to pay. is this usual? when I called nvc they said give it another 2 weeks.
