Hello,

Mine is under NVC process and waiting for an interview at UAE embassy.

After I recived a case complete, is it okey to travel for vaccation (2 or 3 months) to my home country and return back just in time to attend the interview??.. Could it be a problem??

Thanks for the reply

Not sure but we need more information to be able to help you. Like where are you living now in the USA? Or are you in UAE? all important information

so someone can help you with this. :) Someone will come by to help you but most are sleeping right now. Good luck to you and God help us all. :)(F)(L)(F)

Checking in after a couple of weeks silence... turns out life outside VJ does still exist! Who knew? ;)

Have now paid the IV fee, posted the IV package and completed the DS260. The Fedex site suggests our IV package will be delivered to NVC around 10.30am Monday so then the waiting game will begin again. Somewhat concerned that we are going to be checklisted for the AOS package but when I called on Friday they said it wasn't even under review yet. Tuesday will be 2 weeks that they have had it so I will start harrassing them then

In other news, I called last week and I DEFINITELY selected option 1 for English speakers and my call was answered in Spanish.... again. I told him that I had selected the English option, which he acknowledged to be true, but then he proceeded to switch between English and Spanish throughout the conversation so it took about 10 minutes after I had to clarify everything he said when really he could have answered my questions in about 30 seconds. Grumble grumble... as long as they process it quickly, I don't care what language they want to speak! :)

He has been MIA.... I hope it's just a VJ break (we all need those from time to time) and nothing serious!

Has anyone heard from Austin? We are in the same timeline and worried about why he isn't here. :( AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSTINNNNNNNNNN! :clock:

I was out of town due to visiting friends and family for two weeks. I just came back today!

Since I was waiting for my case number, I decided to take advantage of this down time.

Now I'm going to call NVC in a few hours since I'm really jet-lagged and can't go to bed. LOL

I know my case number is ready now. I'm so ready to start the NVC process from today!

I understand how stressful all this process is and how we get caught in everyone else stories. I was thinking I should also take a break and wait patiently for my turn, I can't change anything and I can't make it go faster! I find myself depressed and sometimes jealous for others having their CC and interviews ( I am happy for everyone, don't get me wrong). I wish you the best of luck and hopefully will have our cases completed soon. Take care! :luv:(F)(F)

I'll be taking a break from VJ for awhile. All this stress is really getting to me and affecting my relationship with my husband. I'll just update Saylin's form for the spreadsheet when the time comes. Thanks for all your support and good wishes to everyone still in this waiting game. :luv:

It was! I unfortunately had to dye it black as I moved to a new state, thus new job, and this job was business casual (compared to my last Target job). So, had to say goodbye to my beautiful blue hair :( But, I just bought 3 wigs on Amazon last night (blue, red, and purple), so I'm gonna have some fun on nights and weekends with them :)

I guess you can wear your wigs on Fridays at work, maybe?

Many people wear casual clothes (and wigs?) at work on Fridays so it should be okay.

Thank you for replying LoveMyTico! I really appreciate it!

I'm not sure if you're the one who answered it before but should the total income be the one written on the I-864EZ form (question 19) or should it be the adjusted gross income?

Thank you so much! :)

OK, alot of people answered this incorrectly...

If the 1040 was filed, you have to use LINE 22 ( TOTAL INCOME) if you use any other number they will check list you.

You said you filed the 1040... LINE 22 from the 1040 is the number you have to use..... check and double check.... GOOD LUCK !!!!!
