ehhh don't feel bad about complaining because I feel the same way . At least those who are waiting will know what they face once they get a CC. This thread helped me so much. I liked knowing what was next. I am sure they appreciate it !

I am on hold again. I was thinking about asking for a supervisor this time... it depends on who I get. This morning I got Todd again. God I love him ! I hope he answers again. I can do without Joy and Arthur.

Let us know what they say. So many of us CC peeps are waiting for interviews. I feel we're a little group that have been stuck and waiting for the past month. And some of us have been waiting for over a year!!! (not me...it'll only be 10 months of waiting for me on the 15th)

I completely agree. I mean I feel guilty sitting here complaining about not getting an interview date when others are waiting for the rest of the process. But we did our share of waiting and I haven't seen absolutely any interview dates being scheduled for awhile now. Maybe one here and there. But nothing like last month.

SO....... WHAT IS GOING ON PEOPLE?

I don't feel guilty about complaining. I've waited almost 15 months. I think I deserve a little b*tch and whine every once in a while! ;)

There are definitely 2 Abby's that work the day shift on the phones! The one I talked to today was not the polite nice lady I spoke to at the end of April who gave me my case #.

And they are definitely not up to the 16th yet. She refused to tell me what day they're currently working on (I say refused because she said 'I can't give you that information') she said I need to give it at least 30 days bla bla bla. I asked if a July interview was possible for me at this stage and she sighed and said "honestly, that's not happening" and then quickly said "but I could be completely wrong" (I think she was covering her tooshie lol). It wasn't a completely pointless phone call afterall, I guess. :/

I can't even imagine. I see the latest people coming in and getting approved in 2-3 months and I'm like :secret::ranting:

Totally not their fault. It's the system. Certain people got stuck in it and now others are flying through. I wish them all the luck. Especially with the way the NVC is lately. Even if there have been some improvements.

Let us know what they say. So many of us CC peeps are waiting for interviews. I feel we're a little group that have been stuck and waiting for the past month. And some of us have been waiting for over a year!!! (not me...it'll only be 10 months of waiting for me on the 15th)

Well, I got Cindy.. she was the next best thing to Todd. HA HA

She just said they are waiting on the response from the embassy. They are still scheduling for July. So I was trying to dig a little on the process but they don't like to give out any details... From what I gather, our CC's sit in a queue. It doesn't matter how many total CC's there are to be scheduled. It depends on the volume at each embassy. So I think they send out the CC's that need appointements to the embassy and they wait for confirmation. So when she says waiting for confirmation from the embassy, I guess the CC's were queued up... just waiting ( another waiting game) I tried to get more info out of her but she wouldn't budge. She also verified that the CC email is taking a week.

Maybe someone else can ask what they mean by Waiting on confirmation from the embassy.

Oh, and she did say that Costa Rica is not a common embassy and there should not be an issue with getting a July interview but I'm only taking that as her personel opinion..

The ####### above sounds like jumble.. sorry..

my dog was crying at 2 am and I decided to let him out instead of cleaning up a mess he MIGHT create... Turns out it was just the rain outside but now I am suffering... I am soooooo tired

Right behind

Everything crossed ..........sending good vibes your way!!!!

Although not waiting on CC, I sent in an email on May 16th with Choice of Agent details (I also completed the form May 19th - received May 22nd). I received a reply to my email today, so I think they might be working on May 16th.

Now, here's a question, does the reply to my email mean they are processing it now or just that if I hadn't done the DS-261 then today would be my received date? Here's the email:

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: LND2014xxxxxx filed by (PETITIONER) on behalf of (BENEFICIARY).

We received (BENEFICIARY's) Choice of Address and Agent form. The next step is to pay the immigrant visa application fee. We will send an invoice to the designated agent.

To learn more about the immigrant visa application fee, you can visit the website below.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3904.html

We received documentation for your case. Please allow 30 business days for us to review your documents.

To clarify, this is in RESPONSE to the email I sent in using the Choice of Agent template on the wiki.
