I did because when I called they told me it shows in their system as incomplete, but someone posted a while ago that NVC knows about it and they go by your first submit if there is no change to the info,,,,

I emailed them yesterday (6/6/14) requesting more info as to what I am supposed to do next as they keep sending DS-261 Checklists to me, we'll see what they say. Hope they will get their :ranting: together pretty soon. As of right now I am going to leave INCOMPLETE as is and wait for their answer. I cant call them any more because the crazy wait period ate all my 700 min on my Verizon cell phone  and I always get the same answer like, : "We have both DS-261's and they are under review. It will take us 30 business days".. and so long and so forth, I'm sure everyone is familiar with that one lol

BTW did anyone else get DS-261 Checklist before?

I would also like to thank Saylin and her wiki, as well all other vj'ers who have helped me abd my husband keep our sanity through the entire process.

I called yesterday after work around 5:30 waited for 35mins, but glad to finally get the good news. Not sure if the NVC is working today.

To check if the package was sent, go to https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw== and enter your case #.

if the case was sent to the embassy it will show "InTransit" or it will show "Ready" if it made it to the embassy already.

The interview is scheduled before the case is sent out. NVC schedules all interviews.

Good luck

if you are USC, the baby is automatically USC, you'll have to register the baby in the US consulat. They will tell you how to proceed.

Your will have to inform the physician that she is pregnent. Chest X-rays are required but they will have to do something else instead of X-rays.

Good luck

Ok, I am officially an idiot. I sent my revised AOS from my checklist today. I was in such a rush and panic about the whole thing, I just checked what I sent and I forgot to tick the box that I am an American citizen

I can't do anything, but send another one on Tuesday when our post office opens again after a public holiday in Australia. I just can't believe I did this, I am so rattled and feel sick to my stomach. So, I guess I can add another few days onto my wait. I was sure I checked and re-checked the form, but was obviously not thinking straight because I was in a rush. :ranting: Kicking myself so hard right now.

I've read people rushing to mail their AOS and IV packages and forgetting to include important documents or not spotting mistakes in their applications. We all know what that leads to! Checklist! And we all know what that means! Delaying the process for 1 month!

I've decided not to mail my AOS and IV packages ASAP. I'm giving myself at least a day to double check my packages. I don't think delaying for a day or two is going to make much difference. -_-

hello guys i got a massive checklist for my AOS. It was filled by my attorney, its really disappointing how many mistakes he made.

I am not working did not file tax therefore I have a joint sponsor, who is married and filed his tax joint with his wife, however his individual income is above 125% of poverty guide line.

I want to complete it myself. I would really appreciate if some of you can help me.

Gah! I left that group this morning. No time for FB drama (and regurgitating the posts from here b/c people won't read).

I'll just stick here, it's time to wind down :-)

Which group did you leave? I-130 Facebook group or USC Green Card Facebook group? :huh2:

You were an excellent contributor so you will be missed. :(

Drama? Maybe I missed something, but I don't think I read anything like that though (unless I was the drama)?

3 days after interview and I am just now checking in.

First off, thank you to everyone who has congratulated my husband and me, and second, congratulations to all those case completes and those who have recieved interview dates.

Interview review:

We arrived in Ciudad Juarez on Sunday around 6pm. On Monday my husband left for his medical around 5am. (No appointment, you can just show up.) I waited for him at our hotel because of our 8 month old. He got back around 7:20am.

We went back at 2pm and picked up his results. On Tuesday his ASC appointment was at 7:20am. He left around 6:50 and was back around 7:20, so it was pretty fast.

Wednesday he left for his interview at 8:45. (9:15am interview) We waited for him at a nearby Denny's for breakfast. At 11:30 he got there with an APPROVAL!

Note: I made a folder for him with everything we submitted to NVC and a couple more things, and he was asked for the ONE thing he didn't take: MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE. But the officer told him not to worry about it and told him he was approved.

Next day during lunch around 2pm, his passport was at the DHL ready for pickup. We went to the border for port of entry, crossed over to Texas, and by 5am Friday morning we were in Houston.

Having my husband here feels like a dream. Thank you to everyone who helped along the way even if just to say they understood how I was feeling. Hang in there guys! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. :)

Congratulations !!!!

And thanks for sharing your journey.

I can't imagine you being the drama, Austin! I'm not in any of the Facebook groups, as our employments might be terminated if people knew we were applying to move to the US. It's probably for the best... I can't imagine how I'd get any work done at all if I had other immigration related websites to spend time on!
