Hey hey lol I am 22 turning 23 next month. I always like to investigate, I literally had to stop myself from always tracking with USCIS because it was becoming addicting and I was getting depressed. Once it was approved and sent over to NVC, I did both calling and emailing to check what was happening, plus I asked my friends who had done the process too.

Talking about this, my cousin a guy got married he is 24...well his dumb "wife" decided to sneak in and go to the interview without even telling him. So most likely she didn't take the necessary paper work, well well they told her that he had to come. So my cousin goes right, they go on a mini vacation to a resort, then they go on the interview together and they asked them if they slept in the same room one said no and the other one said yes lmfao so obviously they didn't get APPROVED.

They were having some drama with each other hence why all of it ended up that way. MESSY MESSY MESSY. Plus my cousin lol is kind of dumb, I wonder who said yes and no to that question plus I am sure it was other factors that messed it up for them.

I didn't mean to disrespect you ! sorry about that ... I know not everyone is ignorant to the process.

Its ok, I didn't take it personal. But your post reminded me of my cousin just now lol and his situation happened like 3 weeks ago smh. He married almost a year before me. I am sure the wife is mad because she just wanted to come here but their relationship wasn't even solid anyways.

Lol I'm 24 but I get what you're saying. She didn't try to learn about it because she doesn't care. Btw I hate her and everyone that abuses the system so that honest people get screwed. You should have reported her bs.

well, the thought has crossed my mind..but since I am going through this mess myself I don't want to create any kind of "bad Karma" and to tell you the truth, my community is crawling with illegals. I can point them all out. They walk with confidence since our president won't deport them anymore. I also know an entire family who all received Greencards through fake marriages.I won't have anything to do with them. They are all liars.. It amazes me how they pull one over on the government and the rest of us have to suffer through this long process. OHHHH don't get me started

We just completed our DS-261, after waiting 8 days since receiving our case number! When logging in to the payment portal, we get the error message that the case is in process of termination, so hopefully our AOS fee will be invoiced soon!! :)

I don't know if it is a glitch but it seems like nobody who is assigned to the Paris embassy has received an interview date for July yet. I emailed NVC this morning and here is their reply :

"We should like to inform you that we did not yet receive your spouse’s immigrant visa file. You may contact the National Visa Center for its current status as they will schedule the appointment. We only receive the files once they have been processed and the interview scheduled."

Great. It does not make sense at all.

If they invited you there would be less for them!

I'm confused did you call the Embassy in France or NVC? If NVC obtuse or is it the Embassy? I would call not e-mail and if you received a response that quickly then it must have been the Embassy and they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. You really need to call unfortunately.

My husband grew up in California, San Francisco. Are you with your wife/husband during this process. We aren't. My husband is back in USA working while the children and I are here. Kids are both US citizens. Just me causing the problem!!!

Oh I love San Francisco beautiful and amazing city love the temperatures there. No I had to come back to take care of my parents who are ill. I wanted to come back with my husband but it didn't work out that way. We have been apart a year this May so doing this all alone without his emotional support.

I don't understand why anyone would leave California specially Norther Ca.

ok cool, then I can actually be involved in the entire conversation. My husband speaks spanglish sometimes. He can't let go of the word "pero". Everything will be english but then he sneaks that in... he knows its wrong .. I guess he can't let it go I am the only person who he speaks english with. I his spanglish

Sometimes I wish I could wake up and all of a sudden be fluent in spanish... accent and all. (((SIGH))) then I could talk to his family without him around.

And I wish the same thing for myself, but with French. You'd think living in Montreal for like 20 years would have made me fluent, but alas, not anywhere close

I'm in an extremely fortunate situation, where I live with my family, and have enough achievements to self-petition myself (and my derivatives) for an employment IV, among many other blessings the Lord in his wisdom bestowed on our little family.
