Ugh....more waiting. Yvette seems popular lately. I've spoken to her twice, 2 people have spoken to her today lol.

Anyone else awaiting on Paris for an interview?? The more not the merrier lol because someone will be left behind in the scheduling if there aren't enough slots. I think I was the last CC for Paris. Soooo.... That would probably be me. Fab...

Hmm I got CC after you so if someone is let behind it may be me! Uscis backlogged, NVC backlogged, and now the Paris embassy? This is just great!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

So I have a theory about the interview scheduling...

I wonder if this is what happens...

After you get a case complete, your reviewer scans your file, and it is passed to another clerk(s) who are the "schedulers". They pick up one file at a time, pull up your country's interview schedule, then slot you in. When the "slotting" occurs, the interview email is automatically generated. The scheduling clerk then scans your file once again, and it moves to the shipping department. The shipping department collects all the files for a particular country that have come in on that day, bundles them all together, created the FedEx label, then ships them out.

Of course, this is all conjecture. It's in NVC's best interest to get the files out of their hands as quickly as possible - both from a throughput perspective, and also to shut all of us up.

But I'm guessing there are 40 agents, 20 reviewers (2 supervisors???) and one scheduling clerk - and the more files they complete, the more Mr./Ms. Scheduling Clerk gets backed up. I cannot see them deliberately slowing down the interview scheduling - as it does not help their throughput numbers at all. I envision the reviewers gleefully dumping files on Scheduling Clerk's desk, and mine continuing to be on the very bottom. Or, that files return to the file room and Scheduling Clerk ambles in, grabs 5 files at a time and shuffles back to the cubicle....

For those of you who are successful at finding a chatty agent when you call - would you check out my theory????

Congrats, MsGoyave! You were very disciplined to wait a whole 24 hours before calling. Happy Birthday (one day late)!!! Since you and I were both May 9th "scanees", I was hoping we'd reach the finish line together. And we did!

I don't think Sydney is as backed up as Paris, though Australia only interviews IR-1/CR-1 folks on Tuesdays at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.

No official CC letter or interview as yet.

I went to the Burnaby RCMP and paid $60 for my police certificate. I was like "$60 for a piece of yellow paper that has little info on it"!?

I check the I-130 Facebook group everyday. The current record holder has been waiting for 28 days to pay the IV fee. :wow: The previous record holder got to pay her IV fee after 27 days. :wow: I hope I don't become a new record holder!

We're waiting 25 day now... :(

Well another depressing day from NVC as still no IV Invoice. Been waiting since 8th May.

Broke bad news to children this afternoon that they probably won't be in US ready to start school 1st September. Son going into Grade 10 and daughter Grade 8 . They are very disappointed. Good news though, I said, we should be there by Christmas! 'WHAT?' they both screamed!!!!!!!!!

Won't be long till bedtime. Only good thing about going to bed is when I wake up it is afternoon at NVC and my obsession starts all over again.

Hubby called NVC last night from US. Sounds like he spoke to a 'grumpy pants'. He said I am NOT calling NVC again about IV invoice as there is just no logic to the process.

Oh well, off to cook dinner. Sorry for venting.

On a positive note Congratulations to everybody that has had good news this week.

Our kids are super excited to start school in Colorado as well... going to grades 8, 6, 5 and 3. If we don't make it by August, I'll use your "At least we'll be there by Christmas" line.

Too bad it won't work with my wife. She's super excited to enjoy the Colorado skies, and they're at their best in the summer when the sun sinks behind the Rockies.

you're not a first person with this problem and it's not normal. my package was scanned day after the delivery.

i think that they are trying to control the flow but it's not solving the problem. they need more people to go through all the visa apps.

Mine were the 2nd and 5th June - none on the system as yet ....

the IV is not ready yet for me either my hubby is stressing over paper work and I don't like it either,I have been upset knowing that after all this my hubby will get AP for a while. people talk about AP from Pakistan and mixed race and age, me and hubby are both about middle age we did not meet on a chat line was from family and we have been together from 2009 .. I get mad when I see we are a mixed race hubby is as white as me minus the tan from sun. when I see people getting mad about the time it's been a long one for us ISL did not let us use a sponsor in K1 what a headache that was.

So this is round 2 for us and over 2 years of waiting :crying: and when I think of AP I want to cry. I am glad my gov takes the time to check for nutters but my hubby comes from a good family. maybe I am thinking to far ahead but I am just so sick of all this.. as we all are.. you would think my case would go though faster cause we are in the system already not so grrrrrrrrrrr yes I need to vent, wishing the best for everyone
