yeah. i already got it printed and ready to go. Just want to make sure there is nothing else besides that. On hold for 34 minutes. I'm sending it overnight tomorrow morning. Hope it gets

delivered on Saturday.

Well dwipal, it depends, I didn't put N/A on address since it was the same as the mailing address, and I never got a checklist, my AOS was approved. But it's fine if you go ahead and send it.

This is is normal. You have to keep checking the site.

Is NVC really busy or something???? My case was sent to NVC on May 27. I have received the case # and IIN by phone, but up to this point I have not yet received the invoice by email. Is there some kind of problem? Does this seem normal to you guys? I am really frustrated with this. I cannot believe it's been 10 months of this.

Thanks for any answer.

By the way. How do I edit my timeline so it's visible to everyone.

I have updated it, but it's not showing up.

Islamabad embassy is one of the embassies that places most male candidates on AP irrespective of whether or not it's a mixed couple or not. We can only pray and hope! The whole system is extremely bureaucratic.

When we had to deal with them the first time they was really nice but after reading on how things work I must admit my heart sank. So many couples are waiting and one person was waiting for over 3 years this to me is really unfair. My hubby don't like me to read in here lol he knows I get down from it, however its the only way to find out whats going on and why things are taking so long. I pray for all the family's this is really hard to cope with at times.

It's neither of those.... They have a very thought out, well planned and thorough process:

First they take all the files which are case complete and are awaiting interview scheduling. They take them to top level of the office block, stand in the stairwell, then drop all the files at once. They then go down the stairs 1 level at a time and as they find a bar-code, they scan it. They keep doing this until they reach the 1st floor and this gives them the order in which files will be scheduled interviews.

Stage 2 involves assigning an actual appointment. What they do now is have a yearly planner on the wall They work though the cases in their newly found order and fire darts at the yearly planner. Whatever date the dart lands on is the date you get the interview.

Maybe this should be added to the wiki?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

This might as well be the case  , from what we have been seeing :P

Thank you ColGil :goofy:

Mz Agent Tori (with a lovely Boston accent - I miss life on the east coast!) says my May 16th packet has not been reviewed yet. She was pleasant, but I rattled off all the info she needed as soon as she answered, so maybe she appreciated not having to ask me all those questions lol

She asked if my husband completed the DS-260, which he did on the 14th, so do they "approve" the DS-260 before the IV?

Yes my ds260 sent on may 8 got approve june 4 still waiting for iv scanned on May 13

Thank you! :-)

Whoa, they hit the 15th last night?! Yaaaaaay, re-dial time!

At least you found out about both issues at the same time, I think you can send them in together, you just need separate cover sheets, right?

I dont know if i have to send two cover sheets. I gotta figure it out. Thinking about just sending it with AOS documents.
