Received my letter for Oath scheduling today. Set for the 23rd as I expected. I updated the timeline earlier, but was in a hurry and only posted that.

I looked back at the list and realized I was asked 7 questions.

1. What is an amendment?

2. Who vetoes bills?

3. What did the Declaration of Independence do?

4. What is the supreme law of the land? (I gave the wrong answer for this one)

5. What is the capital of Massachusetts?

6. Who did the US fight in WW 2?

7. Who is in charge of the executive branch?

For the English one:

I read - Where is the White House?

I wrote - The White House is in Washington D.C.

For the English one:

I read - Where is the White House?

The wrong answer on #4 explains why you were asked 7 questions. If you had gotten it right, they wouldn't have asked #7.

I had my oath ceremony today . So I'm officially a United States citizen . I'm going to apply for the passport tomorrow . Good luck everyone

Hey Guys, Good news !!! My interview was approved !! Considering that i had a trip that lasted 6 months and couple of days it went smoothly also... Well Everything started by me driving to USCIS, I got a speedy ticket on my way there for 127 $ but the officer dindnt give me any points on my license, but anyways i got to uscis at 1 pm ( interview was scheduled for 1 15 pm) i was called at 2 pm, my wife wished me luck, once im inside, they make you to raise right hand and ask you to tell the truth, interview started to ask me questions about the n400 (like if you want to change your name, and when was my last trip to D.R) , Well, here is the little detail, since i had that trip that lasted over 6 months, they asked me why, i told them because i was finishing my college studies, then she asked me if a inmediate family remained in the usa, and i say yes, and asked me if i obtained a job in d.r and i said no becuase my father supported me, and then they asked me if my wife lived in D.R And i said yes, and she asked me why, and i told her because she did not have green card yet...then after that i was requested to show my transcript from college to show that during that trip that was the reason that overstayed, and i did... after that, the conversation about the long trip ended, and the civics questions started>

1.Name one war fought by the United States in the 1800s.

2.Name one war fought by the United States in the 1900s

3.the House of Representatives has how many voting members?

4.We elect a U.S. Representative for how many years?

5.Who is the Chief Justice of the United States now?

6.In what month do we vote for President?

And the english test was>

Reading> who was the first president of the united states?

Writing> washington was the first president the of the united states.

I had my oath ceremony today . So I'm officially a United States citizen . I'm going to apply for the passport tomorrow . Good luck everyone

Hello everyone, im just wondering if anyone of you guys are having the same problem. i've been checking the status of my N400 application and its been like this since August 21. is there really a delay?

On August 21, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview.

i submitted mine to the Phoenix Lockbox (not sure though but my case # starts with NBC)

You are also in Chicago, right? I am too and I was in line for interview for over 2 months before I got my interview date letter. You can look above on the timeline my information. I know it sucks but you are still within the timeframe.

Hi everyone, I have a N-400 interview schedule for the October 22th at the Lawrence District office in Ma. I was wondering if they would disclose the oath date at the same day (assuming that I pass the interview) :)
