If you read carefully you'll see that their interview was today and that their oath was also scheduled today for Friday, 09/26/14. So on Friday they have to go back for the oath.

Which is your Field Service? That might be the reason why theirs was processed before yours. CA filers have to wait a lot longer than FL ones. Has it been longer than 90 days since you've received anything from the USCIS? If yes, maybe you should give them a call to find out what's going on.

That is extremely amazing report. Now I can surmise (which I REALLY doubt it) that USCIS is not handling N-400 application on FCFS basis.

My application was sent weeks before your parents, first week of May to be exact, and don't even have anything received yet, unless there are tons of applicants from my alien city or there is missing information on my papers.

But why is it that on your log the taking of oat is recorded as 09/26/2014, while your schedule is 09/24/2014, which is today?

Just prepare a written statement and take it to the interview. Make sure you are prepared to answer any questions. I hope you included your mom's tax return showing you as dependent otherwise take those to the interview.

That is not true! Who are you trying to fool here? This is not a drinking or smoking law. As long as you are still 21 years of age, your parents can petition you.

That is incorrect. The only way a child can get their citizenship through their parent is if they are under 18. After 18, the child would have to apply for the citizenship apart.

You're confusing being petitioned for a green card with applying for citizenship.

If you're over 18, you don't automatically become a citizen when your parents are naturalized. You have to file your own N400 application.

If you're under 18, you can't file an N400, you either become a citizen when your parents are naturalized, or you wait until you're old enough to file your own application.

There's no such thing as being petitioned for citizenship.

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly; if you were referring to my professional achievements, or my work background, or what I do, or just my experience with immigration processes (plural, because I had enough background of the matter), I will tell you upfront--"NOT RELEVANT!"

thank you for replying.

just wanted to know regarding the immigration related advices you provided. many of who deals with the USCIS provide advices, but what many don't realize that the USCIS have

1-rules and guidelines that should be followed.

2- every IO have different point of view/mood.

so its very difficult to say anybody is an expert in this matter, we only have speculations, unless they are lawyers or somebody who deals with this establishment for living.
