So, June filers, I find myself in an unexpected conundrum. I lost my job today. It's OK, no biggie, I hated it anyway ,but what I'm wondering is this: is it worth flying home for a bit? If the interview isn't coming until the end of September, then I'd have to say yes, it's worth it.

It said to bring Driver's license and all passports and travel documents (include expired and current). There is also a note to bring this letter with the documents.

Based on your in-line, I am guessing that you will receive the letter around 08/24. Just my own observation!

Hi, im glad when seeing Vietnamese at here :), your yellow sheet same to me, they asked me bring passport , travel document , maybe that is Viet Nam trip.

Im still not in line yet :(

Hi Damian,

Sorry about your job (or not!). Have you checked other St. Louis filers? How long is it taking there from in line to interview? I guess it all depends on when are you going and how long you are staying, in case you do get a letter soon. But also, they usually give you at least two weeks between the letter and the interview so you should be ok.

Hi Damian,

Sorry about your job (or not!). Have you checked other St. Louis filers? How long is it taking there from in line to interview? I guess it all depends on when are you going and how long you are staying, in case you do get a letter soon. But also, they usually give you at least two weeks between the letter and the interview so you should be ok.

I'm guessing the interview letter by the end of this month and the interview at the end of September. Whatever - I'm flying home on Tuesday!!!!

Damian, Sorry about your job - I know how it feels.

If the trip is in August then you should be safe - I don't expect any interviews to be scheduled for June filers in August looking at the predictions.

That said, am still waiting for the first interview letter for Dallas lock box applicants!!!!!

my wife applied on Jun 11th and still have not got fingerprint letters.

We got notice of acknowledgement right after sending application. about a week ago got yellow letter describing have your id's ready.

Online status states - initial review

She applies to chicago.

Why she has not receive fingerprint letters yet? should i contact them about this or wait for it to come?

Called USCIS today as my 90 day was up yesterday and was told that my case is still in Nebraska :(. the customer rep created a case for me and I hope it doesn't put me to the end of the line

my wife applied on Jun 11th and still have not got fingerprint letters.

We got notice of acknowledgement right after sending application. about a week ago got yellow letter describing have your id's ready.

Online status states - initial review

She applies to chicago.

Why she has not receive fingerprint letters yet? should i contact them about this or wait for it to come?

You should call them ASAP and try to talk to a Tier 2 officer.

One explanation would be if she had a biometrics done in the past 18 months. I read somewhere that sometimes they don't schedule biometrics for people who had done it recently. But if you paid for it, then you should have received some kind of notice.

Another explanation is if they sent the letter and you never got it, which seems to happen quite often. It just doesn't make sense since you got the NOA and the yellow letter. And I've never heard of anyone receiving a yellow letter before their biometrics. She should have received the biometrics appointment letter by now.

Also, can you give us all the dates so we can put her in the timeline?

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to let you know that I filed in June as well. Got my fingerprints pretty fast and have been waiting for 4 weeks for my interview letter. I received a yellow letter (dates August 6) stating that while reviewing my file they determined that I needed more documents to provide. Once they finish reviewing they will schedule me for the interview. Documents needed at the date of Interview: ID and all passports.....

Not sure what they are reviewing if all additional documents they need at the interview is my ID and passport...
