I hope you are right! My tickets have nothing to do with DUI. I will try to pull out my driving record when I go for interview, to show that all of them were taken care of, if there will be any isuues.

I just sent my app with nothing but 2 pictures and the app itself, will I get the text confirmation too? check cashed today(6-19-2014)

ps: I have about 10 tickets, all paid, no citation ( "citation" as if i have to go to court), none listed on n400 as its clearly listed not to, plus in ohio they suspend your license if u 60days late which i a sure the IO offer at cincinnato would know. if they make an issue, I will sue them for it

You also needed to send a copy of your GC, and if you didn't it seems like that didn't keep them from processing your application.

Maybe I'm blind but where does it say to disclose traffic tickets on the form? Or it is just that question on Part 11 that says 22. Have you ever committed, assisted in committing, or attempted to commit, a crime or offense for which you were not arrested?

sorry sweatheart i forgot to mention, yes I did send a copy of GC....you are not blind( i know u were being sardonic)..... TRAFFIC TICKET NOT TO BE DISCLOSED unless 500 or above which usally a DUI or more seriously a accidental manslaughter.....also to question about CITATION, traffic ticket is not a citation UNLESS you are required to go to court to pay it, if you just mailed it or pay to the clerk, no need to mention.

BTW I already contacted my senator, I was dx with cancer in 2013, it came back in 2014, I requested one of the senator if they can speed up process so I can go to visit family in canada, my country's passport is expired and I have no desire to renew it so I just applied for N400, the case officer told me to provide the NOA as soon as I get it and she will see what can be done to priotize my case on humantarian grounds, as of now I am cancer free, healthy as a horse, but you never know when it can come back so I want to visit my nieces before it get worse and my time to go comes.

Exactly!! nowhere on the form it states to disclose traffic tickets!! But I guess those questions that you mentioned inlude traffic tickets. I have been reading forums all morning today, from people who had tickets, and some had issues on inteviews and some didnt. So will have to wait and see.. :/

Is your timeline accurate? The timeline shows your N400 was sent on 6/18/2014. Though here you indicate they cashed the check on 6/19/2014. Did you send it overnight delivery?

The item in question is actually Item 11 Question 23.

Have you ever been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including any and all immigration officials or the U.S. Armed Forces) for any reason?

Whether a traffic ticket equates to a citation, is another matter that I won't try to debate.

You will only get a text message notification of the status of your application if you sent form G-1145 along with your N400.

Wow! Now reading it again I remembered that when I was going thru my CR-1 process I was "detained" by the Immigration officer at ORD airport while trying to enter the country, with my USC husband, on a tourist visa. The IO was very rude, saying I was already living here illegally because I was applying for residency but already had a drivers's license (in AZ, where he lived at the time). I wasn't handcuffed or anything but brought to a room, interrogated, my passports (the valid one and my expired one with the valid visa) were confiscated and I was fingerprinted and photographed, and ordered to go to the USCIS office in Phoenix a month later so they could decide my fate (mainly if I would be deported and our I-130 petition cancelled). When I went to get my passports the IO there was very nice and said she knew I wasn't trying to do anything illegal and let me stay in the country for another 6 months. That never again came up on my CR-1 or ROC. And I don't have any record of that either. But I guess I'll have to mention this at the interview just in case it comes up. And until now it hadn't even hit me that this incident would have to be mentioned at all. This process does bring out all the skeletons in the closet! Hopefully for me it will be the last "extra" thing that comes up.

Did you send your package to Lewisville, TX or Dallas, TX PO Box ?

I sent my package on 13th June to Dallas PO Box and it reached 17 June. Check is not cashed yet.
