Finally!!!!! Got the text message/email notification that there'd been movement in my case today. Sure enough, the online status had changed to "your oath has been scheduled."

So, I still don't have the letter - but at least I know it's on its way!!!!!

Well, Aimar, I had my interview almost a month to the day before you did, and the oath was only scheduled yesterday - almost two months to the day after the interview. I guess the it's all down to your local field office's naturalization scheduling. Whilst San Francisco undoubtedly deals with a higher volume of applicants, I'd also say it was a safe bet that they have more frequent ceremonies than the area which my local field office covers - there are only four a year.

Best bet to get a more accurate picture of your own situation would be to check the timelines of other filers who've gone through the San Fran field office, and, if you're in the locality, make an infopass appointment in order to speak to an IO face-to-face. I did, after my oath still hadn't been scheduled over a month after my interview (despite being placed in the oath scheduling queue a mere 3 days after said interview) and although the news was not pleasing, I at least found out the reason for the delay (the four times a year thing) which gave me some degree of piece of mind.

Also, here's a link to the San Fran naturalization schedule. Looks like it needs updating (it's only showing the dates for September and October) but it looks like there's two ceremonies per month, held on the same day. Looks like December might be a decent shout for you. You might want to give the clerk of the court's office a call too - I'm sure they'd be happy to furnish you with the relevant dates:

Today was the day! I finally had my Oath ceremony and I'm officially a US citizen. My journey on VJ is now over, but I will follow your progress guys and truly wish everyone who are still waiting a faster process! You will get there!
