I-485 trasfered to NSC confused about "Basis for filing"

Hello,

In my e-notification/ emails specified that my case was routed to National Benefits Center. I used the receipt numbers to check my case status online and both I-130 and I-765 are in "Initial Review" ( at NBC I believe) while I-485 is in "Acceptance" , this morning I noticed that I-485 it's now being processed in Nebraska Service Center which it was not yesterday. I went to check the processing times for the different Service Centers and I got confused with the following chart, which "Classification or basis of filing" does apply to my case? None of them apply to me unless is the first one but why? Now I understand that the processing time is not set in stone, but I wanted to see the backlog in this particular since I've read numerous complains that they cases being processed here take forever to receive an answer.

I believe it is because that ultimately your I-485 will be adjudicated by your local office (Houston), so try checking the processing times there.

Thank you for your response. I still do not know why there is not another basis of failing in the different categories that could apply to cases like mine adjusting from F1 visa marrying a USC. I did not apply on "Employment- base adjustment" which I believe for those with HB visa, or asylum, or refugee or any of the different categories that are mentioned in the website.

Your i485 won't be adjudicated there so they don't include that basis for filing. Check under your local field office, they have the appropriate basis for filing listed there.

oh ok thank you that makes sense. I had checked the TSC and it doesn't look very good, but I know few people who also live in Houston and the process did not exceed 6 months.

Yes you are right, I didn't have the right name at the moment. The status of my case online shows I-485 in Nebraska Service Center and the I-130 and I-765 I believe are in Chicago. I am still trying to understand the process and get familiar with it with the help of people in this forum who knows more and answer our questions.
