Passport Issue - Dominican Republic

So, I am going on a trip back home to the Dominican Republic and I had to get a new passport from my country as I took my husband's last name. The issue is, that in the Dominican Republic, they like to keep the fathers name attached, however when i got married I dropped both of my hispanic last names. I am currently a permanent resident and all my paperwork has just my first name, middle name and my husbands last name. This includes my green card, marriage certificate, social security, etc. Now to the question:

I don't know why, as none of the documents I submitted for the name change for my passport had my fathers last name, but the wonderful people at my consulate decided to make my name read as "first name, middle name, fathers last name de husbands last name" This makes no sense and now I am worried that because it doesn't match my U.S. paperwork that they will not let me back into the country when I return from my trip.

Is this a big deal, or will immigration and homeland security see that my passport was documented when i left the country and my green card is accurate? Any help would be awesome!!! Thank you guys!

Hi there. I'm going to move your post out of General Immigration and over to the Caribbean regional forum as you're more likely to get responses from people who may have run into the same issue. Also going to edit your subject title to include county for the same reason.

If you do not get a response you may want to try the CBP help page:

https://help.cbp.gov/

Good luck!
