For Lagos only 11 days is a bit thin. It will let you file the petition but rule of thumb is 30 days or more of face time to have high hopes of approval. Your age difference isn't too bad and you are still of an age to bear children. Lagos concentrates on you knowing each other and each others family and personal life. Plan at least one more trip , fairly important is being there at the interview if you can only afford one more trip

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Ok, will he get apptoved for a tourist visa to meet my family if i submit a invitation do u know?

Likelihood no. But you can always give it a shot. And it has nothing to do with you writing a great invitation letter. The CO at embassy needs to be convinced the immigrant will return and unfortunately for many a Nigerians that isn't the case.

The Nigerian that is well traveled and has money in bank usually gets a visitor visa.

Ok thank you so much. God bless you. One more thing can he try a student visa because of this process his parents want him back in school but we are trying to wait so he can finish here. Should he try a student visa and is he too old?

With a student Visa he has to first get accepted in a school than he would apply. Some schools with sponsor but you have to get accepted first. So if that's his route its worth a shot. The ways things are going for K1 fast fast you could file today and be at interview within 5 months. Student visa you are looking at probably next year since we are almost at summer and most acceptance is out.

Also after you get approved for the K-1 he comes over, you guys get married, and then apply for Adjustment of Status you are required to file an Affidavit of Support, form I-864, which requires you to have an income of 125% of the poverty level for you household, assuming you have no other people living with you that provide financial care for, that is just you and your fiancé/husband. Just keep that in mind as you apply, because your job will have to hake that much money and you have to have tax statements proving it. Good luck!

Well she'll have to meet the requirement before there ever is an approval at embassy. So you need to get your ducks in a row now. if you don;t meet the guidlines you will need a joint sponsor.

If I understood your post, he has family in the US? that can be a red flag. Can you visit him again? You're going through the toughest consulate, you need to have TONS of GOOD evidence. Also get joint sponsor, arrange this now, since people might be reluctant to volunteer for that

Help, I need help with my K1 fiance visa. We are scared of denial and want to do everything correctly. Please provide advice. Thx

My understanding with Nigeria is that a LOT of in-person meetings tend to be necessary for approval the first time around.
