Biometric fingerprinting for I-485 and I-765 ( Is it really done twice?)

Hello everyone!

I applied I-485 for adjustment of status and done the biometric fingerprinting yesterday. But since I applied the I-765 for EAD not at the same time with I-485, I still get the mail today for biometric fingerprinting for EAD? Is it normal method that I needed to do the fingerprinting twice? Any opinion please?

at bottom of biometrics appointment letter it should show 2 application numbers,one for I-485and one for I-765. You enter both numbers on a small form you fill out at the biometrics appointment. One appointment only...

sorry for not reading your original post correctly cresh 20,by not filing I-485 and I-765 and I-131 together you unfortunately had to pay more money for the I-765 because filed separate from the I-485 and Both petitions require biometrics, also,if you apply for I-131 advance parole you will have to pay separate for this also but no biometrics.

this is not correct - if you apply for the i-765 and/or i-131 AFTER you've already applied for the i-485 AND include a copy of the NOA receipt for the i-485 the fees are waived.
