We submitted AOS paperwork on 6/23/14

We received EAD/AP combo card on 9/5/14

After doing biometrics on 7/23/14, we've not heard a thing about the green card.

No interview notices. Nothing.

Status shows "Acceptance".

Application is at the Nebraska Service Center.

Should we be doing something at this point, or is this still within typical time frames?

Thanks.

I'm in exactly the same boat. Sent off mid-June, got my EA card at the end of August and now I'm still waiting on my Green card - which is on "acceptance" on the USCIS website.

However, it looks like there's a few people recently getting their K1 visa-based AOS in, which is good news! congrats to them!

AOS:

NOA: June 16th, 2014

NPIW: September 29th, 2014

Received Green Card: June 13th, 2015.

RoC:

Submitted: March 22nd, 2017

N-400:

Just wanted to leave an update that our interview (in Los Angeles) was approved last monday. The case worker was a very nice and chatty lady; we actually didn't have to say that much, she mostly glossed over things, asked about our wedding ceremony and talked from her own experience (we're a gay couple and she has gay family — we consider ourselves blessed with this combination). All in all honestly it was a pleasurable experience. 30 minutes we were out again, and happy to have been approved.

Now, sometime wednesday or thursday the approval notice came in the mail, and yesterday my green card!

Thanks all of you for sharing your stories, it has helped me a lot.

Feb 2 - entered the US (on K1)

April 12 - Got married

June 2 - Filed AOS, EAD and AP

June 11 - Received NOA

~July 20 - AOS status online changed to "testing and interview"

Aug 12 - EAD & AP approved

Aug 18 - EAD card mailed out

Aug 19 - Interview Scheduling notice mailed out

Aug 21 - USPS scheduled EAD delivery

Sept 22 - Interview — approved!

Sept 27 - GC received!!!

Wow, that's fast based on the date you sent off your application. Congrats!

Thank Lord, finally I heard about my I-485. I have just received notice of potential interview case dated September 25th, 2014. I would prefer get the letter rather than go back to local USCIS office in Kendall with 8 hours to drive is killing, :P .

I just called USCIS. I was informed that the Dallas, Texas office is currently working on applications from November 12, 2013. Website shows my case still in "acceptance" in the Nebraska Service Center. The robotic sounding girl said it will be 6 months before they start working on my application that was filed in June, 2014. Three letters: OMG.

Man, after reading about all these waiting stories now I feel we were really blessed:

We sent out documents on June 2, and got i485 and i130 approved on the spot on the interview on Aug 21.

Good luck to all people still waiting!

Congrats and probably it really helps if you filled your timeline in so others can take benefits of it. Sharing is caring and thank you for taking this as a consideration, ;) .

I noticed almost all K1 AOS applications are delayed for 6 months with interview waiver. The rest having gotten their green cards pretty quick, with interview are non-K1.

Indeed. That's why it always has been encouraged the VJ members to post in correct forum to avoid a confusion or probably jealousy (?).
