Yes, each form takes a different process. By the way, I read that the National Benefits Center processed over 1,000,000 cases last year. We only see a very FEW here on VJ. This will tell you why sometimes it takes a little longer to get a response. My forms are in the same status. Not counting holidays, that boils down to an average of 4,032 cases per day.

Take a read of this article. http://blog.uscis.gov/2012/06/national-benefits-center-what-it-is-and.html

Is it normal for the case status to still be on 'acceptance' after 3 days? My EAD has passed to initial screening, but the I-485 is still on Acceptance.

Both of mine are still in acceptance. I do not care what the status on the website tells me, I follow what I see in the mail.

I have a question for whomever has information. I just received in the mail my NOA1 notices for AOS, EAD and AP. All with a notice date of 16 June 2014. The notices came from the National Benefits Center at Lee's Summit, MO.

How do I fill in my timeline for EAD and AP where it asks for USCIS service center? I don't see Lee's Summit in the drop-down menu.

Thanks in advance!

How do I change the Filed For field under my username from K-1 to Adjustment of Status?

Use the USCIS Service Center that serves your county & state. Most likely Los Angeles.

I'm in San Francisco. That's what I used in the AOS timeline (USCIS office nearest you) but for EAD and AP, it doesn't say to use the nearest USCIS office.

I've just got my NOA-1 for my I-485 and I-765 on Monday morning around 2:00 AM. My applications are routed to National Benefit Center. My EAD accepted on June 18th and is now in initial review whereas my I-485 has been received on June 20th and is still under acceptance status and is processing at Nebraska Service Center location. The wait game is begin! :dancing:
