Very pleased to announce that I have successfully completed my interview and was approved on the spot.. We only had four pictures, copy of life insurance policy and copy of the cable bills in our names as proof of relationship. Majority of the questions were directed to my spouse and the IO barely asked me anything. In 25mins we was done... God works in a mysterious way really. We never prepared for this at all and just went in there with the few things we had!i still retained my EAD card and I'm so excited bout it. Here ends this journey for me until 2016... Goodluck to everyone!!!

Hey, congrats! They gave me back my EAD/AP card too, right after the 'grilling'. Please write a review of what happened at your AOS interview. I'm still in the process of doing mine. Cheers!

So thrilled to report that we were approved with ease yesterday! Green card was sent for production minutes after the interview was finished. The questions were very easy to answer because, well, we are a couple!! Lol. Asked my husband what his parents names were, confirmed with me that we met while I was volunteering, blah blah, blah. Very nice lady conducted the interview. We went to get the drivers license today w/o any problem Zbut were told my husband could have had his license back since the moment we received the EAD card?!? Must have missed that somewhere as we were under the assumption he couldn't have his license renewed until AOS was complete. Oh well, such a short turn around time anyway, just beyond happy it's all over (for now). Whew!!

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!

We submitted AOS paperwork on 6/23/14

We received EAD/AP combo card on 9/5/14

After doing biometrics on 7/23/14, we've not heard a thing about the green card.

No interview notices. Nothing.

Status shows "Acceptance".

Application is at the Nebraska Service Center.

Should we be doing something at this point, or is this still within typical time frames?

Thanks.

I sent mine on June 13th, 2014 and my status still same like yours. So, I wouldn't worried too much about it.

got my I-485 approval notice in the mail today. Online status is still on "Decision" however on the day of the interview, it was on "Card Production" but kept changing multiple times throughout that day. Just waiting for the card to be mailed... sitting here reminiscing... doesn't it feel so relaxing just knowing u have PR status. No more visa renewals, paying hefty tuition fees for school out of pocket and trying to stick with stringent laws that non-immigrants must adhere to. As a matter of fact, I already applied for financial aid haha
