FINALLY got my biometrics appointment in the mail today. I feel like I'm so far behind everyone else in this thread that I might as well post in the July/August filers threads instead :P

Just chiming in, but we're still waiting for the notification of acceptance, NOA1 etc. Very glad that we chose to send it via certified mail, so at least I know it got there!

I'm doing a little dance over here. Don't mind me! Finally there's an update on our cases on uscis.gov website. Since we mailed them in, and got the NOA1's, there hasn't been anything going on online 07/03. But today, the I-485 was moved to "Testing and Interview". I had the biometrics on Thursday, so I thought it would be the I-765 that would move first. But who cares -- as long as there's still no RFE's and there's activity online, I'm happy. Remember, we never got any texts/emails even though we signed up for it.

Now, fingers crossed that our interview isn't scheduled for a date when I'm traveling to Cali to see my family for the first time in 2.5 years. Anyone know what I should do in that case?

AOS from F-1, maintaining status

August 2010 was introduced to each other during a visit in NY.
01/14/2012: Arrived at JFK with F-1 visa with the intention of studying for three years, and then do OPT. Intention was not to get married!
Yet, almost five semesters as a full-time international student later he proposed ...

04/07/2014: Married in Queens, NY

06/26/2014: I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131 and supporting documents sent to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Priority.

06/30/2014: USPS states delivery happened 6:50 am.

07/07/2014: Received NOA of I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 dated 07/02. --- What a great 3-month anniversary gift!

07/15/2014: Received Biometrics appointment scheduled 07/31, in Long Island City.

07/31/2014: Biometrics done. Process took 45 minutes. 99% was waiting time. Awesome people working there. Good experience!

08/06/2014: Case i-485 updated to Testing & Interview on uscis.gov - - Yay!

08/29/2014: Updates on I-765, card in production as well as I-131.

09/04/2014: Update on I-485, interview scheduled for October 10th, 2014.
09/08/2014: Received combo-card. Went straight to Social Security office to get SSN.
09/15/2014: Received Social security card in mail.
10/10/2014: Interview at Long Island City. Took no more than 10 minutes. Was simple, normal questions. Was approved on spot.

ROC

10/07/2016: USPS stated I-751 was delivered. Also sent in fee waiver request.
10/19/2016: Got everything back, with denied fee waiver. They misspelled my name. Makes me wonder if they even read my application. My name is all over the papers.
10/25/2016: Sent in ROC (I-751) again, with USPS.

10/29/2016: I-751 delivered again.
11/2/2016: Checks cashed
12/16/2016: Biometrics done in LIC, Queens.

Yeah, you sent it one day after us and I had my biometrics on 07/31. But hey, who knows - maybe your case will still move faster than some of ours. Just hang in there! :)

I think it was just the 3 week delay in getting our NOA, coupled with the longer than average wait time for our biometrics appointment that's made me so antsy. I no longer feel like our package is in a dusty corner of a room somewhere! Still hoping for my EAD by the end of Oct :)

He never got a txt or email saying this so we were shocked when by chance he just checked his status. His EAD not his travel documentation have yet to be updated :/ Should we be worried???!

Ok so my husband received an email on June 10th that his AOS packet was received and accepted. About two weeks later he got a letter for biometrics which he went on June 27th. By chance on August 1st he checked the uscis website and he noticed a change to his AOS. It had interview! We got the paper notification on Monday August 4th that he will have an interview on September 4th! He never got a txt or email saying this so we were shocked when by chance he just checked his status. His EAD not his travel documentation have yet to be updated :/ Should we be worried???!

So almost like our situation. It just changed to testing and interview on the website today. I hope for an interview date soon. You shouldn't be worrier about the Ead/ap because you don't need it once you get your greencard. Whatever comes first. Wish you the best!!

I have tried to not look continuously at the USCIS site but with people mentioned case status changes tonight I thought I would take a look. And woo whoooo. My case status changed too To RFE lol don't know what for yet but I guess that means someone is looking at our case. Just hate that everything is on hold until they get their requested evidence. But we are hoping for EAD soon.

Just received a text this morning and our INTERVIEW HAS BEEN SCHEDULED!!!!!!!! We are scheduled for September 18th!! Sooooooo beyond thrilled! Will help out tremendously with the job situation too now that he'll have his driver's license back soon! Yay!! Happy Thursday!
