June 2014 AOS filers

I know how it feels Corey. I am waiting for my EAD because my husband (US citizen) had a lot of credit card debt before we got married and he didn't know how to take care of his finances well. (Was doing only a part time job with minimum wage and living off credit cards for most part). In December he started truck driving but he had to go through CDL school and was basically not making any income for two more months while living on the road. Now we got a loan last month with better interest rate to pay off his credit cards but we are not paying rent yet (We lived with his parents). However, his parents are moving out and already sold the house, we need to find an apartment soon and his pay per mile just don't cover it. :/ I am thinking about asking to expedite my EAD card, however I read on the May filers that some are already having their cards on "Sent to production" status. I am unsure where my situation qualifies as extreme hardship. So I will call them on Monday and see how it goes.

you will have better chances with a pending job offer. put it in as financial hardship, and give them proof of bills, loans, debt, etc. if that fails, you can also contact your congressman/senator's immigration liaison for help. good luck!

your situation doesn't sound like it would qualify for expedite request cos the facts presented does not appear to be beyond control. your best bait would be a pending job offer and/or medical emergency which was actually the basis of my approval yesterday. If you filed in June, the earliest u may expect to hear from USCIS would be midweek towards August ending under normal circumstances. If you contact a Congressman and ur case is well within normal processing time say like 30days and u have no real emergent situation it may be unproductive. People who are close or past 60days waiting period will usually have a higher chance of approval via this method. But still give it a shot, doesnt hurt to try.

you've already been to your biometrics appointment, yes?

if so, you won't really need any of those papers moving forward. just make sure that when your EAD/AP and green card come in the mail, you keep them far away from the puppy

So hm, we sent our AOS documents to Illinois, they went to Nebraska (MSC case code) but the RFE goes to Missouri?!?!

How does it make any sense? Wouldn't they want it with the rest of the documents in Nebraska?

It's so hard, I just wanna go back to work as soon as possible.

I'm just home cleaning, cooking..there's not much around here, I'm living in a really small town

If you are really worried, make an infopass appointment and they can give you a piece of paper that will serve the same purpose. It wont be the exact NOA but it's better than paying some stupid amount for them to reprint.

Like Kitthekat says, if you have your biometrics appointment, then it shouldn't really be a hassle.

I was seeing that most people is getting their EAD in production already.. that makes me think that I could just wait for the normal processing. The problem with my husband job is that he gets paid per mile with no base salary or anything. This month the company truck broke down twice and he got two $100 paychecks :/ because they couldn't repair it and he had to get another truck. I would like to ask, and maybe get a job offer.

I read previously that for the interview you had to bring in all the documentation that USCIS sent you. Is this correct?
