Everything turned out to be in order here. Accepted on Monday right after the weekend.

My case is processed at the Nebraska Service Center and not St Paul. Perhaps that is same for everyone?

Just chiming in, but we're still waiting for the notification of acceptance, NOA1 etc. Very glad that we chose to send it via certified mail, so at least I know it got there!

Our lawyer sent the AOS package Tuesday, June 10 via overnight courier, so USCIS must have received it Wednesday, June 11. My K-1 visa I-94 expires June 12. No texts, emails or any notice from USCIS yet.

We sent in a certified check for the $1070 AOS fee. How do we find out if that's been cashed by the federal government? People here talk about their check being cashed so I'm curious how do they know if it's money order or certified check?

So my husband and I received a txt sunday night that our AOS had been accepted. Monday morning we checked online, email, and it gave us the tracking # to check on the uscis website. It stated june 3rd they sent out our noa1 but have yet to receive it.

Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797)

Sent ours in on May 21st but no NOA until June 9. Sooooo, we r June filers too I suppose. Haven't received our hardcopies yet (filed for husband and stepdaughter). But on USCIS website, one of the AOS stated it was txfered to Nebraska

i got my biometrics letter in the mail today! it's dated 11 June, and the appointment is for 2 July. We'll be attempting an early walk-in this Thursday since the office is only about 20 minutes away from us. Fingers crossed!

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

My reasoning is they tend to send the confirmation emails/text faster if u paid by money order as opposed to checks which could take some time and process. In January I paid with money order and got my NOA 1 text/email 2days later whereas this time around I paid with check and it's been 5 days and counting no words yet. However on the same day USCIS received my AOS package, my online I-130 status went from Post Decision Activity back to Initial Review with something to this nature, "Your Alien Registration Number has changed..." And has been sitting there since then. Anyways that's just my theory and may certainly not be the fact until we compare and contrast the mode of payments for those who already got their text/emails against those of us who haven't received anything yet. Might come up with some interesting findings...
