Just chiming in, but we're still waiting for the notification of acceptance, NOA1 etc. Very glad that we chose to send it via certified mail, so at least I know it got there!

Don't worry about it. You may still be in acceptance after you get the green card. Makes no sense, but that is sometimes how it is. We are still in acceptance and had our biometrics on 7/11.

I'm still in acceptance too, after having my biometrics done on July 7th. I'm not too worried about it, it's just a touch irritating I can't see any update on my status until I get things in the mail. Seeing people also having had biometrics done on the 7th makes me hopeful I'll get stuff soon!

Would a call top USCIS to check the status help matters at all? Or would this just irritate people and have the case sent to the back of the line?

AOS:

NOA: June 16th, 2014

NPIW: September 29th, 2014

Received Green Card: June 13th, 2015.

Completed: October 5th, 2018

 

N-400:

Submitted: December 11th, 2019

Interview: April 22nd, 2020

Interview descheduled and now waiting for further updates...

I would leave it alone. Calling USCIS is not really going to accomplish anything. We are also in the same situation and I realize that the only thing that will matter is TIME. Sooner or later something will happen. You may see a change in status or you may even get your cards before any change in status. It is totally crazy the way it works. Just be patient and hang in there. That's about all we can do. I have learned one thing in this process, it will happen in do time.

Us guys over in the May filing forum, look at the April filers board, as most of them are about a month ahead.

There is no point in calling, you status is likely to remain in acceptance or initial review, both mean the same thing really.

Pretty much all the timelines I have read get the EAD card in 73-75 days.

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

Nooo we apparently got an RFE. I wonder what it's about... I thought I included everything with our I-485. So bummed.

Let us know why you got a rfe.. At least they are working on your case ??

Did an early walk-in for biometrics today in the Royal Palm Beach Office (which was pretty quiet before 9am). Couldn't make my appointment on the 25th as my husband has to work and I don't drive yet. So we arrived at 8:30am and were out by 9:15am. They had no problems with an early walk-in.

Not sure what to expect on the online status tracker, I've read sometimes it doesn't update so who knows. I still haven't received my hardcopies of NOA1s so I think I'm going to wait until the end of the month and then ring USCIS to ask where they are.

K-1 Process:

09/03/13 - NOA1

10/22/13 - NOA2

02/25/14 - Visa Interview - Approved!

03/03/14 - Visa Received

04/08/14 - US Entry

06/05/14 - Wedding

AOS Process:

07/02/14 - NOA1s received for I-485, I-765 and I-131

07/23/14 - Early walk-in for Biometrics

09/04/14 - EAD Card Approved!

Done with biometrics today! Went in 3 hours before scheduled time and i was accommodated. Finished in 15mins. Now going back home through 5 hours drive!! Haha

So ready to find for job already!

Got our NOA hard copies today too :) yay for progress!

In your signature, it says you sent in AOS June 14. Why did it take more than a month for you to get the NOA1s?
