For people who are interested in the reason to my RFE.

1. Sweden do not have birth certificates, we have "Personbevis" instead. In my package we sent a copy and not the original which has a stamp and a signature. Bad move.

"Available. Birth records for persons born after July 1, 1991 are called "Personbevis", and are issued by the local office of Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), covering the applicant's place of residence at the time of birth. (If place of birth is unknown, apply for the birth record through 'Riksregistret' at the Swedish Tax Agency.) The complete version should state the applicant's date and place of birth, the names of both parents, their marital status and their date of marriage, if applicable. Birth records for persons born before July 1, 1991 can be obtained both from the parish office (Pastorsambetet) in the parish of the applicant's birth and from the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket)." - travel.state.gov (http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/SW.html)

2. Our joint sponsor, according to USCIS, does not meet or exceed the 125% of poverty guideline. Absolutely bs. In our package we submitted the latest tax return and te W2 where the sponsor makes over $500 000, however, they file joint tax since they are married. This is clearly indicated on the return. We therefore included the W2 which has the same number. Apparently that is not enough for the USCIS.

"The joint sponsor's income on the Federal income tax return does not meet or exceed 125% of poverty guideline. The joint sponsor list their current income on Form I-864 as an amount to be considered as sufficient; however, no evidence has been submitted as proof of income."

However, I guess I can be as upset as I want regarding point #2 but our mistake when it comes to point #1. I have to gather some documents and reply on monday. I am still quite amused that over $500 000 on the tax return and the W2 does not meet or exceed 125%.

I think item #2 it's a mistake from them, your not the first one that I heard it happened, I know 2 other girls in the same situation, they sent the documents with the poverty guidelines attached

We sent everything and got our petition acceptance letter in the mail. Some are June 25th and some 26th -which is odd considering everything was sent in together the same day. Either way, I wonder if we'll still need a new medical, considering mine was in March of this year...

YES!!! NOA's are in for I-485, I-765, I-130, I-131 ... SO maybe now I can stop dreaming about getting rejections letters in the mail, rather than acceptance...

Waiting patiently...

10/07/2016: USPS stated I-751 was delivered. Also sent in fee waiver request.

Has any June filers requested an expedite for EAD?

me! are you considering it too?

i got an update from USCIS today that was pretty much a non-update...it simply acknowledged that i put in the expedite request. USCIS has not asked me to submit any supporting documents yet. i am writing to my congressional representative for help with expediting the EAD today as my company wants me to submit the I-9 soon.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!
