I have a question and hope somebody might know the answer - I am a wife of a US citizen, and I received my I-766 Employment Authorization card last June ( Issued 2013, expires on June 22, 2014) and then recieved my I-551 Permanent Resident card in August 2013 (expires in 2015)

Am I correct that my Permanent Resident card (which has the same USCIS # as my I-766) supersedes the I-766 Employment authorization card? Do I simply wait until 2015 to renew the Permanent Residence card, or do I still have to renew the I-766 as well?

Thanks in advance!!!

I-766 is the actual EAD card.

You don't need to renew that once you have your green card but 90 days before your green card is set to expire you will need to file to remove conditions, which involves providing lots of evidence that your marriage is still bona fide (more so than at AOS) and if that is approved you will get a 10 year green card. Then after an additional year if you are still married (3 years total with the green card) you can apply for citizenship.
