You sure know jeans, Spook! I just know normal American brands, but it's hard to find them without stretch, which sucks.

The stretch fabric is quite popular now, even in a lot of men's jeans. But Levis are always a reasonably priced safe bet. They make some nice women's jeans if you can get a cut that fits you well. We have a high end Levis store on Newbury Street in Boston, and sometimes they send their overstock/clearance stuff to their regular stores. I got a few killer deals for a few things for my wife. A Made and Crafted denim jacket, made in USA, selvedge denim, regular price $199.00 It got marked down a few times and I got it for $27.xx. I don't remember the exact change, but from $200 to $27, new with tags. Ditto for a pair of Made and Crafted women's jeans. They were about $180 and on clearance for $12. She's lucky, she's small and usually gets a decent selection. You don't see the commons sizes too often.

Angry comment.

I used to have a job on Newbury St. (shh!) I hate shopping at a Levi's store, it seems so confusing, especially with both womens and juniors sections. But I think I'll try again to find a non stretch jean.

So what microbiome of bacteria do you think spooks has grown on his unwashed jeans? Could he sell his bacteria to the guys in the article? What could he name his bacteria?

Are you from MA or do you live here? There are a few of us here from the smartest state.

I apologize for taking your thread so off topic, but the bacteria thing got me to thinking about the wash/don't wash your jeans debate. And all that gross stuff.

I don't mind off topic. Give us some funny names for your own microbiome!

I used to live in Boston, I think I talked about this before with you?

Microbiome!

I honestly don't remember if we talked about it or not. Did you ever go to Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market, The North End?

Hmm, microbiome names. You got me there. Nothing clever is coming off the top of my head. I'll have to get back to you on that one.
