From US embassy in Manila website, medical should be done at least a week (5-7 days) before the scheduled interview. However, the applicant can take it before that. I had mine a month before my interview. Just remember that the visa validity is tied with the medical date, that is +6months from medical.

No need for an appointment, it's first come, first served. For more info, check out the slec site: http://www.slec.ph/#

- Read on the reminders and notes for more detailed tips.

Online pre-registration: http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

- Highly advisable because they are entertained first upon entry compared to those who didn't pre-register.

If I go there at 5AM, will I still be able to get the medical done that day? Do they have like a quota for the number of people they see per day?

Hi Senna! Yes, 5am is good. They don't have a quota like CFO. You will just need to fall in line in all the tests that you need to take. It's normally done in 2 days. If you don't have a child with you who will take the test, I advise you go to SLEC on a Thursday, because there will be no minors (for TST) and lesser people too.

You don't have to be there super early. Normal process is 2 business days unless the misfortune of sputum.

SLEC is on a first come, first served basis. No need for appointment.

Hi there,

My parent's interview is July 2 also. I have a question do I need to send a copy of Affidavit of Support for them to bring to the interview? Or just the tax records? Thanks and good luck to us! :)
