I am very confused, and I hope someone can help. Our AOS was accepted by USCIS on 04/21/2014. We received an RFE, which we were expecting for the marriage certificate. We got married in California on March 12, 2014, and it took almost 8 weeks to get a certified marriage certificate by mail. I sent of AOS with customer copy we got when we got married to get the process started. I sent back RFE reply quickly and got notification on 05/21/2014 that the RFE response was received by the National Benefits Center on 05/21/2014. I had not received updates, and like most people I check my USCIS portfolio every day. I checked today and our I-485 got updated on 05/29/2014 and now says that the RFE response was received by the Nebraska Service Center. Never got a notification on my cell phone by sms or email as I had been receiving all notifications. What does this mean? Were we transferred? If so, why were we transferred? Is this normal? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
