Hello to all,

I just wanna ask some opinions about my concern.

We are going to fill-up the G-325A and have doubts the company address on what to write.

My fiance is working in trucking industry as a driver. He is assigned in Texas where the company renting a small area in Texas Terminal to park their trucks. But his employment records is in California (main office). They have project manager in Texas handling them and report the information to the main office. His paystubs indicated the California address.

We have doubts what to write since he is working in Texas and home address is in Texas.

In case we'll write the California, it won't match the state of his home address.

We are so confused where to follow...

Hope you can help clear our minds...

Thanks in advance.

Put the local office in Texas down as your company address. The address only needs to be city and state. There are a lot of businesses that have home offices in one location and branch offices in another. This is really no different.

Use the address of the actual location of where he's domiciled for work. A company might be headquarted in one state, yet have employees working at locations in other states

ETA: Sorry Zedayn, we hit the "Submit" button at the same time.

I have follow-up question:

I am the beneficiary. I read some posts here before and said that during interview, some of the documents needed is work employment certificate of the USC, so we are thinking to that also. Is the employment certificate really required for the interview?

Because if it is not we can write the actual location. In case we need that employment certificate for the future interview, so the Letterhead of the company will show the California address and not the Texas i think.

To answer your question directly: no, the employment certificate is not required.

One of the required documents for the interview is the I-134 affidavit of support and a copy of the most recent tax return with W2s. The employment letter, or certificate, and pay stubs, bank statements, etc. are all optional. You can bring those if you wish, especially if it might help your case. You should bring all documents that will prove your fiancé can support you in the US, and that his income is above the poverty guidelines.

And to ease your concern of the address that is printed on the letterhead...that is irrelevant. When your fiancé presents his W2s for the interview, the address on his W2s will state the California address as well. Your fiancé works in Texas, and that is the location you use for his work place.
