Question regarding the I-751

When are you supposed to file the I-751 and how long does it take to be called for an interview and approved? I read somewhere that it takes up to 6 months to get approved.

You file it 90 days prior to ur green card expiration date. If your green card is conditional.

It is. What happens after you file it? How long is the process and what is the process? Do we have to go for an interview again? Will we be interviewed together or separately? Is there a guide on what kind of questions they might ask us?

The majority are approved without interview. Times vary. Yes, it will take a few months. Check the process times of the service center you will file at. There are progress threads by month and service center in the ROC forum.

You mail it in, they send you a NOA letter extending your GC expiration date 1 year (3-5 days), you get another letter for biometrics appointment (2-3 weeks), you show up for biometrics (1-2 weeks), nothing happens until approval (4-5 months), letter of approval, new green card (7 days later)

RFEs and interview will change everything...

So there might not be an interview... Hmmm.. Would kinda be glad not to have one... Saves me money lol
