I've been looking for that necklace since the day you took this picture.

In other news...The missus and I are off to Vietnam tomorrow for 5 days. I've been in China for 6 months and I need to make a border run and I'm thinking this is the last trip she's going to be able to take before she hatches the baby. We booked a 2 night cruise on Ha Long Bay which I'm pretty gassed about!!! Teddy can I borrow your speedo?

It's on the way Ollie. I threw in my pouch as well. I know it will be too big for you but a few socks stuffed in the right places oughtta do the trick. Enjoy!

Have a great time! When you get back, you will be an authority on Vietnam and be able to tell us whether Trump or McCain was the bigger war hero. :D

As for the ex, I would be minimizing the time I allow him to take up in my life. Life is too short for folks who like to make it more difficult than it needs t be.

Has Mr. U come up with a way for democrats to vote even more times than they already do, or has he figured out how Obama can run for a 3rd term and he is going to be his campaign manager? Whatever it is, good luck to Mr. U!

For the fairy outfit, perhaps Operator or G might have something left over from their nuptials that you could borrow?

What's scary is that I actually have pictures of Mr U in a similar get-up onstage. Just no wings and with a ton of bushy facial hair.

So it's been an eventful week for appliances round the Teddy B house. As you all know we purchased a new fridge and had it delivered last Saturday. The fridge is awesome btw. A few days before the fridge was delivered, I noticed some water under the sink in the kitchen, upon further inspection, the garbage disposal had cracked and had to be replaced. Fast forward to this past Sunday and I go to start up the dishwasher and nothin, just some clicking noise. It appears the pump is gone.

I guess things really do come in 3's. :ranting:

Teddy, the same happened to our dishwarsher (Texas spelling & pronunciation) last year. After much shopping around, I got an Amana from Home Despot. It's the second-best appliance purchase that I've ever made.

Mr U is applying for a Y Combinator Fellowship. If he gets accepted, we're going to be in an LDR for two months, and possibly for another three if he gets funded in the next round. :( I fully support this because I want my man to make a metric poopton of money while I sit at home in my Juicys, but still. :-/

Water scares me, especially on vaca. We had a relay go bad in our fridge over night. So it stops working and the ice melts and forms a puddle on the floor which then warps the hardwood. That happened when I was here. What about all the times I'm not. Hate water.

Thanks for the input TBone. The dishwasher we have now is a Frigidaire (came with the house), while everything else is now Whirlpool (fridge, stove and microwave), so Wifey wants to keep the brands the same. Whirlpool has some nice dishwashers for around $500 so that's what we'll end up doing.

Good luck to Mr. U! He's gonna need all the money he can get! Take it from someone who knows, it takes a village to support a CABA!

Same here G. Water in the house can be your best friend when it's working ok, but your worse enemy when it's not. I had a pipe burst on me once in my old house in NH, thankfully I was home when it happened. It still ended up ruining the ceiling and part of a wall. I've also had the hot water heater go and leave a nice puddle on the basement floor. I had some really bad experiences with ice dams on the roof of that NH house as well, causing water to seep in from the ceiling and run down the wall, joy!

Whirlpool owns (and makes) Amana, and also makes Kenmore, if I remember. See if wifey relents. Again, I couldn't be more pleased with our Amana, which was under $300 and does just as well as the fancy brands.
