Hi ya Losers! Wifey and I had a great vacation in Maine! We had a very relaxing week by the lake. We ate plenty of fish and caught plenty of fish as well. And we had a delicious dinner at Buck's Naked BBQ, I couldn't have pulled that pork any better myself! We were also treated to an awesome fireworks display right across the lake. Life is good in Murica!

If you ask a born and bred Mainer they will tell you that Maine has 3 syllables, it's pronounced "Maine-a-yuh".

You are correct D. The show was fantastic and she did have an excellent floor show along with some really sweet pyrotechnics and a great light show as well. She had three or four security guys push her around the stadium in a big cart while high fivin and shaking everyone's hand while singing a couple songs. She was also using a selfie stick to take pics with the crowd as she went around. She also had a platform that extended out over the crowd from the stage And she's still lookin good!

On a very appalling note, the TD Garden has the unmitigated gall to charge $11.50 for a 16oz cup of draft beer. On our way to the seats, I stopped to get us each a beer and my jaw hit the floor when the guy said "that will be $23.00". Thank goodness one of my buddies works one of the stands that happened to be close to our seats and I was able to get a couple beers on the house. But $11.50 for a beer?? Blasphemy!

Almost Friday, losers! I'm making a Moroccan tagine tomorrow night with chicken, apricots, mushrooms and caramelised onions. Roasted plums with freshly whipped cream for dessert. Hanging out with two ex-VJers -- Trompe le Monde and bakofoil -- on Saturday night. Homework Saturday daytime and hopefully time for exercise on Sunday morning.

I'm waiting on some medical test results tomorrow -- wish me luck. I've been looking for a diagnosis for a particular issue for some time, and I should know tomorrow.
