Thanks man!

Windsor is a great city. It's clean, the people are polite and there are some really good restaurants. There is a small section in East Windsor around Erie St. that reminds me a bit of the North End in Boston. It has some nice little shops and some really good Italian restaurants.

We always try to stop off in Oakville which is about an hour north of Niagara Falls on the bottom of Lake Ontario. That's where my wife and I first met and her sister lives in Burlington which is the next town over. Oakville is a quaint little town with some really cool locally owned shops on the strip along Lakeshore Rd. We usually spend a few hours walking the strip and stop for something to eat. We always walk down to Lake Ontario and the Oakville yacht club to check out the boats.

It's a small world, I've been to the Oakville yacht club. I was born in Buffalo and when my parents split my Dad stayed there while we moved to Mass. He had a boat at the Youngstown yacht club at the mouth of the Niagara River right across the lake from Oakville. In the summer they used to have a race called the CanAm something between the two clubs and they always had a big party there every year. Yacht clubs and summer parties...#nota3rdworldsummer....

Watch out you know that Canadian beer it's like moonshine.

Damn, it is a small world, eh? Oakville is really nice, I would live there in a second. Have you ever been to the Bronte Harbor Yacht Club about a 1/2 mile further north from the Oakville Yacht Club? I like the Bronte club better, it's bigger, has more boats and a nice restaurant as well.

This pic is the Oakville Yacht Club, look familiar?

Wholly heII there is the real Teddy B! You married way out of your league brother, I hope you give thanks every night.

To be honest it's been too many years, I don't know that I'd recognize it. I don't think I've ever heard of Bronte. I do have some fond memories of spending summers with my Dad on the lake. Sailboats are a ton of work though, 5 hours of sailing usually means about 8 hours of work.

I used to go to Mississauga twice a year for meetings. A few years back I decided to fly to Buffalo and drive up. I went through Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville. I like that part of Canada but then I remember how damn cold it gets in the winter, I'd rather be out in BC in the winter at least I could go skiing, the skiing in Ontario sucks!

I sure did marry out of my league and am very thankful! I found myself a diamond in the rough for sure!

That whole area is really nice and the people are as well. Some of my in-laws are in Burlington and Hamilton. We will be visiting them for a couple days this weekend and we'll have our annual dinner at Julia's for sentimental sake. Bronte is an upscale section of the area, lots of lakeside mansions and tons of dough in Bronte. Sailing is a lot of work, I did it a few times when I was younger and remember being sore for days afterward.

We cross the border in and out of Ontario via the Peace bridge and the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge (depending on where we're headed) in Buffalo. It's about an 8 hour drive from Boston to the border and another hour to Oakville. I'm chomping at the bit to get outta here on Friday, I need a vacation badly.

Are you going 90 the whole way? On the Mass Pike right before you hit the NY border just past West Stockbridge (Exit 1) is where I grew up, the Town of Richmond. Man I'm getting homesick thinking about it.

Yes 90 the whole way, then it gets confusing as hell in Buffalo because we go from Rte. 90 to 290 to 190, by the time we hit the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge my head is spinning, lol. The least they could do is change the rte. numbers so they don't all end in 90. I'll give a shout out to Youngstown when we're crossing the bridge!

So that James Taylor song is about you? Damn you were really out there, practically a New Yorker.

We lived in the boonies for sure, on a dirt road. Kindergarten through eighth grade all in one building, I had the same 15 kids in my class from 3rd grade through 8th grade.

I-290 is only about 6 miles long it's nuts. Also watch out because there is a 990 that splits off the 290 and if you hit that you end up back here.

I've made that drive down from there to Windsor before and it gets pretty boring between London and Windsor.

Enjoy your vacation!

It might be the boonies, but it's beautiful country out there. I would prefer to live in the country rather than the city.

The road system up near the border is screwy to say the least. I think there's a 390 and 490 up there as well.

Driving the 401 through London can be a trip with the lake affect snow. One minute it's bright and sunny, next minute it's a white out and your doing 20mph in 2 inches of snow.

Thanks Operator, looking forward to it for sure!

Enjoy, Teddy! Sounds like you and your red hot mama are gonna have a smashing time. :) But I have one question about your wife: does she use her car as a closet on wheels where she collects all her purchases from Kohls? DOES SHE EVEN OWN SHOE CONDOMS? We need to know. :D

My boss just realized I am going on vacation today. I told him five months ago and we discussed it in passing two weeks ago. Luckily he laughed it off as a whoops on his side or I would not be heading to the airport this evening.

my joke for the week, lifted from elsewhere... [

A woman accompanied her husband to the doctor’s office.

After his checkup, the doctor called the wife into his office alone. He said, “Your husband is suffering from a very severe stress disorder. If you don’t follow my instructions carefully, your husband will surely die.

“Each morning, fix him a healthy breakfast. Be pleasant at all times. For lunch make him a nutritious meal. For dinner prepare an especially nice meal for him.

“Don’t burden him with chores. Don’t discuss your problems with him; it will only make his stress worse. Do not nag him. Most importantly, make love to him regularly.

“If you can do this for the next 10 months to a year, I think your husband will regain his health completely.”

On the way home, the husband asked his wife, “What did the doctor say?”

“He said you’re going to die,” she replied.

Sorry Teddy, people regularly "audit" me so I have to remove. But I put the post back.

Don't really care, I'm sick of the foolishness you mods pull here. One mod already rolled through here and he left it be.

Just doing what Ewok wants. Can't control what other Mods do or don't do. Wouldn't be fair if I removed "provocative" pictures of women but not of men. This is the guidelines I have to work with.

Post any mature or adult content including full nudity pornographic images, videos, Strategically covered nudity, Sheer or see-through clothing, Lewd or provocative poses, pornographic cartoons or anime (hentai/ecchi).

Do you think that the picture did not violate this or are you in disagreement with that section of the TOS? Because that's really two different things you know.
