I have officially surpassed the 30lb weight loss I wanted to achieve by July 1st way ahead of schedule, and Wifey has lost 25lbs. I now fit comfortably into my speedo! We are going out for pizza tomorrow night at Santarpios to celebrate!

Thanks T-Bone!

I'm shooting for a total of 40lbs by July, that will put me back at my High School weight of 205. That was in 1981! :o

And the same year I was born.

A very nice young man hit on me last night at a bar. I had to tell him that I had a boyfriend, and that I didn't date men young enough to be my son. The last part hurt to say.

I would post the cougar life commercial at this point but I can't cus I'ma not a supposed to.

I'm just waiting for someone to comment that I'm an ageist by refusing to consider markedly older or younger men, and therefore 1) I'm jelly of his relationship with his young hottie because I'm old and wrinkly and 2) a manipulative person trying to shame May-December, hell, February-December romances. :D

Gotta say Spooks, We were very disappointed with Santarpios this time around. The pizza was a soggy mess and there was so much oregano on it, it was pretty much inedible. We suffered through a few slices and got out. I let the waitress know that the pizza was sub-par and she apologized. We were also left sitting at our table for 20 minutes with no bread or anything to munch on until our pizza came, I hate that they don't have appetizers on their menu. We're gonna go to Reginas this coming weekend to get a real pie!

How's the other side of the world?

Aside from the internetz and the air quality things are pretty good here. We've got a nice apartment and I'm starting to get some things cooking with my business so i'm happy about that and oh yeah, I got my wife good and pregnant so I'm pretty proud of myself!

The earthquake in Nepal has been kind of upsetting though.

...another good thing about being here is I only have to hear about the presidential race in the US if choose to, that makes me happy.

Holy moly, congrats bro. That's great news. That's gotta be super exciting. I hope you're ready for it. Is it your first?
