I'm now 27 years old!

My husband took a day off earlier to present his birthday surprise. He was babysitting the little dude while I enjoyed indoor skydiving. He knows I'm not into very girly stuff like jewelry, purses, flowers, and whatnot. I like fun experiences. After the baby was born, I decided to give up my wish to sign up for real skydiving and riding on a hot air balloon so the vertical wind tunnel is the closest and safest thing I could do.

I haven't seen Penny post. I enjoyed it a lot when she and Maven used to visit the upper forums.

Happy birthday, fellow Gemini!

I never understood the point of skydiving. Why would anyone want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane?

Cramped seats and bad service?

Thoughtful point. In these instances, what would be your solution to calming things down?

I had originally thought that a united front of "level heads" against trolling and anger posting would create an environment in which these people would not want to participate. Their goal of course is to insult or belittle other's point of view which would be more difficult if what they are doing was universally recognized by both sides and condemned. But Harpa has a point. It would eventually be over used against people in simple disagreement. So really, I suppose the best solution is the oldest solution, don't feed the trolls.

Thanks, G. I'm no beauty queen but I'm not insecure when it comes to my looks.

I haven't tried Go Kart Racing but I might. I've done Discover Scuba once and I'm working on my swimming skills so I could do PADI OW and AOW certifications the next time we visit SE Asia.

On a more serious note, the only thing that concerns me most about growing old is my career.

Its understandable. Whether you're worried where you are is not where you wanted to be or if you will be able to keep up with where you are, its troubling. The latter occupies my life frequently. Its never too late to learn something new though.

I was originally in favor of more leniency in that forum, but now I'm not quite sure. It seems near impossible to get more than a few folks on the same page for anything in that forum. On other boards I've posted on with more leniency in the political forums, there was a united front against the trolls and that kept them away for the most part. Here there is a contingency that seems to accept the trolling because it is done on behalf of their beliefs.

Actions have consequences.

What is the point of asking pardon for a ban if you're going to return to the forum and adopt the same antics that got you canned in the first place...

Wasn't it Einstein who said something about repeating something and expecting a different result?

Perfect. If only you had ketchup-flavored chips to go with it...

How bout Egg's Benedict with real Pemeal bacon wheat toast and home fries.

Ofcourse we also have the gun nut special.

I try to be manly in all I do, even in my meals. 3 eggs and all that meat! I also like to shoot squirrels on the power line with my AR-15. I got it to shoot small game. I am so great!

The AR-15 shoots small game like no other weapon known to man.

That's a Canadian fave. Does Wifey like them?

Yeah she does. And she's got my dad eating that #######. She got ketchup flavored popcorn one time we were up there. It stunk. Then I got a waft of her breath and I nearly lost my lunch. Gross...........
