How did we survive without cell phones? I sometimes watch old movies and realize some of the plots would never work if set in our present. I remember going to the airport and running from gate to gate waiting for my parents to show up...

The old Perry Mason TV show would certainly have been different.

Good thing about being married now is that everyone walks around tied to their phones, music, et al., and there's seemingly no chance for an unobstructed get-acquainted conversation (or flirt).

Considering my wife's complete spatial unawareness regarding her cell phone, we're pretty much still operating in a pre-cell world. Dying on the side of the road? Better call anyone else if you expect an answer.

(Semi-Luddite admission) Mrs. T-B. gets on me rather regularly for this. Accordingly, I keep the phone on, but chiefly in case there's an emergency with Mini-B.

At the risk of you all hating me even more than you did before, it is 75F here today, slightly overcast. Closer to 80F yesterday.

No one has openly hated me much more for this than they do already. :P

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Check ya later, Darnell. If you're starting law school, may the force be with you. I'm coming up on the completion of 1L and I will be glad to see the back of it. In the meantime, comfort your soul with the fortune-cookie-like Maxims of Equity, which I find very soothing in dark hours.

No, but there sure does seem to be a lot of tolerance of them these days.

It's all part of the kinder, gentler family friendly VJ.

On a side note, the sock puppets were never allowed until G took office................coincidence??:whistle::lol:
