That's ballsy man. I wish you the best of luck. I hope you'll be able to send us updates from the dark side. Do you speak any mandarin?

Thanks. I speak some but we are moving to Shanghai which is pretty easy to get around for foreigners. I am planning on taking a class and getting serious about it. Even being just conversational will be a big help in business for me.

G - Dorcas cook this weekend? If yes, what? :D

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Pizza from scratch tonight paired with baked cauliflower. She made meatballs and sausage with peppers and onions in a marinara sauce for a family gathering today. All was delicious and all was devoured :content:

Years back I ran the Asia/Pacific business for this company. At the beginning of last year I told them that I wanted to move and proposed that I relocate to China and expand the market a bit but they didn't see the benefit in it so I'm moving on. Retirement was in the form of profit sharing so I'll be taking that with me and I'm selling my equity in the company as well.

My wife was offered a position back with her former employer so she's gonna be my sugar momma for a while. I've started my own company but I'm a few months out from my regulatory approvals.

Date night with Mr U last night -- he spontaneously announced we were going out for a slap up meal, so I got all gussied up (in my special occasion Juicy Couture sweatpants and Uggs) and we had an amazing meal involving lobster and lots of steak and a gorgeous bottle of red wine. When we got home, he surprised me with a box of Godivas and an amazing photography book about Cuba, and gave me a foot massage.

I asked him flat out if he was seeing another lady, so great was this outpouring of awesomeness. He said yes, and her name is Rosie Palm. :P

So you'll be a CABA, leeching off your partner. WELCOME TO OUR CLUB! You'll need some Juicy Couture sweats and Uggs though. And Cheetos.

She has requested that when she arrives home from work I greet her in a tank top and denim booty shorts with a Manhattan in my hand.

I think she is taking this kept man thing a little too far.

I'm maybe 1/2 an inch taller than my wife. As a result, she usually won't wear any heels. But then, my wife is Chinese and cares about her husband. More than I do. If she was caba, she'd wear the tallest heels possible to let me know my place. Below.

I didn't know your wife was Chinese, was she born in China or Canada? I'd say if she was born in Canada she qualifies as CABA.

This brings up an interesting question. If a woman naturalizes and has US citizenship bestowed upon her is there additional paperwork to obtain CABA status? Is there like a try out or anything? Maybe some training classes?
