Yeah the bartender said it possible to get in during the early part of the week. I didn't hear about crack pie. They went to a speak easy in LA but I don't remember what it was called. They also went to a burlesque house called Jumbo's Clown Room that looked pretty fun.

I threw my friends a stag party in April at Jumbo's. We had a fantastic time! It's a bikini bar, so no nudity BUT it does mean you can drink expensive and sh!tty beer. The best on tap was Stella. But you aren't there for the beer, you're there to ignore girls in bikinis dancing to Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode while you get day drunk on lager with your friends. Muy bueno. Great cheap Thai food around there too.

I've been to one speakeasy here, the R Bar, but it's not that much of a speakeasy because they post their secret phrase on Facebook. The one I keep meaning to go to is the Varnish, but I hear it is super-spendy.

Looks like Madam Cleo has opted out of VJ.

If she is the Truth, she's still around, just under a different name.
